I am also incensed by all the lies and deceptions that have gone on for so long, but thank God these young people have grown up and now they can finally get back at their abusers and the ones who allowed it to be covered up, namely the WTBS, They are in fact the worst offenders of all, they allowed the abusers to continue when they knew full well children in the congregations were being sexually molested and beaten, and they did ABSOULTELY NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING!!

DFing, its affect on JWs

we've talked a lot here about how dfing affects those that are disfellowshipped.. after reading the info from the august km, i got to thinking about how shunning affects the shunners.. i think that the suppression of love that shunning requires kills a little bit of their soul every time they do it.. joel

joel I agree with you a hundred percent, they die a little every time they have to shun someone they love, and it is dispecable how an organization can destroy lives like that. No where in the scriptures did Jesus practice disfellowshipping, and the WTBS says they are foot step followers of Christ, well I have a major news flash the hell they don't. They make up what ever pleases them and they squeeze the life out of families till they make them yesbots until there it no such thing as nobots. How many parents will suffer break downs and how many more suicides will be committed because of the WTS interpretation of scripture.?
How much blood guilt will the Society be responsible for in the eyes of Christ.?
I can now see my mom and sisters actually running in the oppisite direction should they ever see me. I will feel more saddnes for them then for myself.

first it was dumbing down the talks with no illustrations or creativity, then came the canned scriptures with the over simplified sermons at the door.

i just heard some wonderful news of another boy being appointed a ministerial servant.
the comment was that even though he is young, he is very mature.another person, speaking of a different boy being appointed said that he had the added advantage of being home schooled and that really helped him to mature.

Jesika: Thanks for telling me Bill already has a permit, I guess I was just worried that he goes to all the work and then something would go wrong with the authorities. I know deep down this sort of thing Bill is well aware of, thanks for reminding me I have nothing to worry about. I would love to be there but as I said in my post I just can not afford to go on this trip as I live on a small pension and it is not possible but my thoughts will be with everyone who goes. My dearest friend Diane wanted to come to but her hubby just started a new job and it is half the wage her hubby was accustomed to getting so she can't come either. but our hearts are with all of you. Once again thanks Jesika. and i see you are a Newbie , welcome to the board.

Dearest Bill and all the lambs I would love to come to New York and echo my feelings, however I am unable to so as I can't afford to as I live on a pension and it is not enough to make a trip with. But my thoughts will be with all of you. and I think the Lamb is a great Idea to carry a great symbol indeed. You know Bill I have an idea, not a money making idea but just a simple thought that if we could make Lambs or get someone to make them at cost and the proceeds go towards legal costs for the those who need assistance. Also Bill do you need a permit to march in front of the Watchtower Hadquarters, I would hate to see everyone get there and then the cops show up and say you have to move away. We know how the GB can be don't we?
