Implications of Dropping "Types/Anti-Types"

the hermenuetics of the type/anti-type practice was a big deal to me in realizing the tatt.
i searched high and low for a rational basis for concluding that god was communicating in a type/anti-type format that wasn't special pleading and circular.

I've already added this to another thread, but I do wonder if it lends credence to the rumor in the above link: that after ramping up 1914 for the 100-year spectacular, what they are really doing is maneuvering to drop it altogether in a few years.
If this is what they are doing and this happens, say around 2017 once they’ve moved into their new HQ, I will take that as evidence two things:
(1) The leaders of the Watchtower are not mere captives of a concept…they know exactly what they are doing and employing intentional deception. It’s 100% of business and their main concern is to protect that business.
(2) The GB are not the real leaders of the Watchtower.

Speculation: Female Ministerial Servants coming soon
by Londo111 inive no source for this, just personal speculation.. * there is a good case to be made that there were female deacons (ministerial servants) in the bible.. * there is a lack of qualified brothers for basic assignments such as microphones, accounts, literature.
in some cases, elders have had to do double duty because of a lack of ministerial servants or qualified brothers.. * women outnumber men in the organization.. * there is supposedly a surprising change coming "down the pipe".. perhaps the only difference between male and female ministerial servants is that women will still not be allowed to teach..

by im_free inso it's been about 10 years since i have faded out and have stopped believing in the jw teachings.
since then, i have accepted jesus and have experienced an amazing tranformation in my life and have been freed from the jw prison mentally and spiritually.
a more detailed thread about my journey is here if you are interested.. anyways, my jw family lives in another state so they are unaware that i am no longer "in the truth" since i have not told them.

Think of it this way: Imagine a person shot with a poisoned arrow. Before you can start to remove the poison, you have to remove the arrow. If you tried withdrawing the poison first, you would meet with failure. The arrow is the undue influence of the cult, the indoctrination. It isn’t easily removed.
Of course, the answer isn’t “do nothing”, but there is no silver bullet cure that works for everyone. Therefore, use extreme caution. It’s a difficult task to remove the arrow of undue influence.

Wow. The talk “TYPES AND ANTI-TYPES” is a significant shift, a further distancing from the Millerite mindset. This opens the door to all type/antitype interpretations, even Nebuchadnezzar’s tree dream.
