Is your heart bigger since you left?

i was free to love people - truly love them as they were and without condition.
i was no longer required to sit in judgement of them because they didn't believe as i did.

i was raised a jehovah's witness by my mother, who got "the truth" by studying with inlaws who were already members.
my father had been disfellewshipped for joining the army a few years before i was born, and has nevered returned to the organization.

FIRST OF ALL, IT CAN BE DONE (IE. KEEPING THE MARRIAGE TOGETHER) BUT IT IS NOT VERY EASY. IT IS A CASE OF BEING 'UNEVENLY YOKED' AND AS TIME GOES ON YOUR FRUSTRATION GROWS WHEN YOU BECOME VIEWED AS A 'NON-PERSON.
IN MY OWN CASE THE MARRIAGE DID NOT LAST. IN RETROSPECT, I THINK I MAY HAVE DONE A FEW THINGS DIFFERENT, BUT I STILL DO NOT THINK IT WOULD HAVE MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE OVERALL PICTURE.
SHE PROBABLY WILL NOT BE COMFORTABLE WITH ANY OF YOUR WORLDLY FRIENDS, WON'T PRAY WITH YOU, OR TALK ABOUT IMPROTANT SPIRITUAL MATTERS. SHE WILL LEAVE YOU ALONE OFTEN FOR CONGREGATIONAL THINGS, CO VISITS, ASSEMBLIES, SERVICE, GET TOGETHERS, ETC., ETC., BUT IF 'YOU' SHOULD VISIT A CHURCH , IT WILL BE HELL TO PAY OR A LOT OF SILENCE.
OF COURSE, YOU COULD VIEW THIS AS PART OF YOUR PERSECUTION, BUT AGAIN, IT IS NOT EASY. IT IS BEST TO TRY TO STAY TOGETHER ESPECIALLY IF LOVE IS THERE BUT BE PREPARED FOR A LONG HARD LIFE.

by anewme ini thought this would be a fun and mentally healthy question to ponder!
i feel better already just to think of this possibility!
for me, before giving away alot of it to charities i would first buy a couple of gorgeous houses strategically set in beautiful surroundings where i could travel throughout the year and avoid harsh winter temperatures.

GOOD LUCK ON TRYING TO GET THE SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY. I UNDERSTAND IT CAN TAKE A YEAR OR MORE AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE TURNED DOWN THE FIRST COUPLE OF TIMES. WITH A LAWYER YOU MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE BUT DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH.

Many have had great sucess going to Germany with the new heat treatment they are giving there. Cancer hates heat, and they are heating the body while you receive the chemo. It has been very good as far a results go. Is that a possibility with you?
Also, if you e-mail me, I will give you some good books that talk about alternative things you can do in conjunction with the chemo to heal. If you're interested, e-mail me at <[email protected]> and I will discuss it with you.
I had cancer and am now completely healed due to some of the things I learned.

EIGHT DAY ASSEMBLIES SUCH AS ATLANTA IN THE 60'S. HOTTER THAN HELL! (IS HELL HOT?) NINE IN THE MORNING TO NINE AT NIGHT. OF COURSE, GET UP AT 6 AM EACH DAY TO GO DOWN AND SAVE SEATS. AFTER THE PROGRAM, HEAD TO A NICE RESTAURANT FOR A LATE NIGHT BIG DINNER, UGG..... AND THEN TO THE MOTEL TO TAKE A SWIM. IN BED BY 12:30 OR SO, AND THEN WAKE UP AT 5:00 AM AND START ALL OVER.
I'D REALLY LIKE TO SEE THEM TRY AND PULL THAT TYPE OF THING OFF AGAIN! I DON'T THINK THEY COULD DO IT!
CAN'T REMEMBER ONE TALK TO THIS DAY!
