1. what is to be gained by punishing someone beyond repentance?.
2. who is in more trouble and needing forgiveness?
people astray..or the ones who led them astray?.
The answers to your questions are "NO'.
so when my brother was a wee little lad, my mother was helping him prepare his first presentation.
it involved a paradise tract, i'm sure.. anyway, so my brother, probably about 5 or 6 years old, stands at his first door and makes his little presentation.
except he kind of forgot what he was going to say and kind of made it up on the spot, because what he ended up saying was, "if you'd like to live forever you can have this tract.

robert farley of the st. petersburg times recently wrote an article called scientologist's policy toward outcasts under fire which efforts were made to 'squash' the article by that church.. the interesting thing is that jehovah's witnesses were mentioned twice in the article as being similiar in their 'shunning' of dissodents.. in the tampa bay florida area's burgeoning scientology community, members abide by a policy considered by some religious experts as extreme: scientologists declare their outcasts "suppressive persons" (sp's).. another scientology policy called "disconection" forbids scientologists from interacting with a suppressive person.
no calls, no letters, no contact.
an sp is a pariah.

Keep up the good work Watchtower, you're in good company!

...do you know where your faders are, watchtower society?.
i just glanced at my watch and realized that if i was still active, i'd be sitting in a coliseum fighting falling asleep listening to some elder drone on and on, but here i am posting on an "apostate" message board.
how cool is that?
How about 8 day conventions, 9 in the morning to 9 at night. Yep, in the mid 60's. Try and get a sizeable crowd to do that today!

she constantly parrots acts 15:29 to "abstain from blood".
she showed me the latest awake that says something about how's there's a rare disease from taking blood transfusions that "hundreds" have gotten.
i told her "hundreds in billions is nothing".
Give me a mailing address and a free tape will be sent that makes the blood issue clear.
this is not jw related but will help you read the 'posts' if you are getting a little older and your eyesight isn't what it used to be.
if you press the 'ctrl' key on your keyboard and rotate the little wheel on your mouse, it will enlarge the print on your computor screen.
i didn't know that before and found out by accident.
