Someone metioned Job but did not really get into the gory details. I won't quote per-say but anyone who was raised JW will know what I'm talking about.

This man's 7 sons and 3 daughters were killed for no reason. He was covered with boils. 7000 sheep, 3000 camels, 500 spans (what ever the hell that is) of cattle. 500 she-asses stolen or killed. There were also the numerous servants that were killed by the raiding bandits taking his animals. I also liked how his wife was portraid as some nagging, senseless, God hating bitch. I also liked how Job blamed him self for this and cursed his birth ( AHH new light into how birthdays are bad).

But it's all OK because he was rewarded 10 fold and the senseless deaths of his prior family mean nothing because Jesus would be born soon and he didn't know about the resurection and paradise earth. BARF!

Yes I'm sure we should go after Saudi's but unfortunately their government usually assists us (US) thus it would be BAD PR to go after them. That's a really hard call. I suppose the only way the US can solve that problem is continuing it's war on terrorism. If they are contributing to terrorism then it will be brought to public knowledge (just as the JW pedophile situation is).

As for making a buck - tell your congressman that we sholud gain prifits on oil production from countries we reform. I did. Also tell them the UN is worthless. There are major airlines going bankrupt because of 9/11. Hell I'm thinking of running for some type of public office. I'm sick of these old gesers who have no ballz (or clue) and bow to the slightest complaint to get votes. Piss on that. - Jessie Ventura is my mentor.

Added: LDH - If SH was removed the embargo against Iraq would be lifted. Gas prices would go down eventually. That sounds like making a country a part of the global community. Under SH, you are correct, Iraq can offer the world nothing.

just wondering if there is a lull in the correspondence of the society to the body of elders?

or have we lost some of our contacts on this board?

it seems a few months ago there would always be a new boe letter posted every few weeks.

Some may say I'm full of sh*t for what I say on my posts. BUT!

I don't ask questions asking for people to openly admit they have violated copywrites of the WTS or leaked confidential info, after 10 posts. Maybe the WTS read my post demanding that legal authorties be used to sieze confidential documents before they are destroyed...or maybe I'm paranoid. Hell, I'll admit if I'm wrong. I just think that's a poor question.

i note from the october 2002 issue of kingdom ministry (britain), the following announcement:

we wish to thank all those who sent letters of appreciation for the fine "zealous kingdom proclaimers" district convention programme.

WOW I actually told my JW parents I'm going to the march.

She called me back and asked again the reasons I was going (my dad was now on the line)

I told them about the 2 witness policy and that over 5000 victims have come forward. Also about some of the secret letters to the BOE. She wanted me to be careful because I was giving a complete stranger a ride and to be safe up there. (HeHe)

I think threre are many people starting to ask questions. I've told my sister about the march and her mother-in-law heard aout it (A JW).

Realist you are correct. Saddam would never attack the US or Isreal because he knows we'd have global support to annialiate his country. What you fail to realize is that he will attack both secretly, leaving no paper trail to convict him or his country.

Hitler screamed, "Here I am! - LOOK I'm killing people, what are you going to do about it?" Saddam will not, and he will play on the non-action of the UN and other apathetic countries who demand specific and conclusive proof that he is a threat. The "proof" demanded by sceptics is like the JWs reasoning. They will not listen to anything short of some child molester raping a child right in front of their face. And then only if it's confirmed by 2 Witnesses.

Is that the proof you need?

So ill"logical"ly - you are saying that Iraq needs to commit a 9/11 for us to preempt any strike against them. Do you REALLY think that is logical thinking? Wait for thousands of innocent people to be killed (like in WWII) before we act?

The UN has made 12-13 resolutions to have Iraq under-go unhindered weapon inspections. Do you deny that? Has Iraq basically said FU to the UN security counsel? 12-13 resolutions and non-compliance by Iraq. You are wrong, period. There is no diplomatic resolution to this situation because he has said F'OFF for over ten years.

Is Iraq a threat? Ask it's neighbors. Sure, give him nukes or technoligy to make/use them. Then, you need to move to Isreal. Live there a few years under threat of some insane toltalitarian dictator.

And by the way....doesn't the US own your country? (if that's where you are really from) Do we not give you millions of dollars because you can't generate sufficient income to support yourself? Doesn't your contry fall under the US' protection?

Will people die - YES! - innocent ones? YES! It's people like you who would take a bus to Canada to aviod the draft Oh wait you are in the Virgin Islands and can sit on your ass and do nothing. The US also does not get involved militaraily unless there are serious human rights violations from ONE sick dictator. As for countries who stone people and kill woman who aren't virgins...they are allowed to promote their sick justce. Don't come to our country and kill non-military personel.

i found a very interesting / sad thread on a true jw chat site that talked about what to do after armageddon occured.. of the 16 posters only 1 stated concern about the 6 billion people that will die that day.

how sad and selfish is that?

it has been brought to my attention that there may be a major scandal working in the billings montana area.

it involves more than ten elders in a motel room at the district convention this summer and 14-16 year old girls.

my information source says there is more to come with possible charges being filed, but key jw's work for social services there and are involved in the investigation.

Im sorry, I disagree with og. Bill made no accusations. He is mearly looking for information from a tip and using his best means (the internet) possible to see if this is true or not.

GRITS gave the best response because he provided helpfull information that would lead to the validity or falseification of what Bill posted.
