  george bush took advantage of your fears of 'big government' to get into office.... ...so are the democrats proponents of 'big government'?

  LDH made a very good point - have vs. have nots.

  If you have would you want it taken away from you just because "you have"? - NO, I sure don't like it. I'm in full support for educating and helping people but there are way too many out there with their hand out.

  If you don't have, yea sure, I'd love to get free stuff than sit at home and drink, do drugs, and have illegitamate children. Personally I would rather use the help and get educated and get a decent job so I could eventually be one of the "haves". That's where the problem is, those who abuse the help.

  some here have wondered why with overwhelming evidence, many jws can't see the forest for the trees, whether it be the un issue or the child abuse issue,.

  here is a quote from this week's book study material:in our day some might wonder why jehovah through isaiah and his fellow prophets, spent so much time condemning the folly of idolatry.

  What "RULES" Did YOU Want To BREAK?

  since the organization has so many rules, did you ever just want to break a rule, just to do it?

  one rule that i enjoyed breaking was the 15 to 20 minute rule that you were supposed to come to the meeting early.

  i was regularly tardy.

  WOW! Being there...........reading that.............. brought it all back to life for me. Nice job.

  It also reminded me of the few people my age (30 or younger) who were looking out the windows on the left building, not the 25th one. Looking at us with these haughty grins of, "look at these worldly people, (thoughts of us being destroyed at Armageddon)."

  I know exactly what they were thinking because I have been there myself. I can't even put into words how I felt seeing them mocking me with their facial expressions. I just stared up blankly. That's how almost every JW thinks of anyone but their own. They KNOW they are right and YOU are wrong and there is nothing that's going to change that. I guess I felt a little helpless because of that.

  What is wrong with a christian maturbating?

  i know many christians and leader saying that doing this is not a sin because we need a relief.. god understands us that we need this if we are single, rather than have sex comitting adultery .. what do you think about this i would like some opinions please.

  JWs claim it will make you have a "sexual appetite", it's an unclean habbit, and that once you become married you will only think of your spouse as an object for sexual relief and not as someone you have a loving sexual relation with.

  That's their take. So as a JW = no masturbation, no sex before marriage, only misionary possition if you're married.......I think I'd rather be John Wayne Bobbit after the "accident".

  More "march" news - a new lawsuit!!

  i guess maybe i am not really tuned into well but i completely forget that kim (aka "concerned lawyer") announced a major lawsuit in oregon involving the wts and a number of elders at this march..

  wow!!!!!.

  more huge news.. i look forward to reading the statement or writ when it is posted.. kick a$$ concerned lawyer!!!!!

  I always love how they hide the "Contact Us" link on web pages. This pissed me off (selling that book) and will try to e-mail them a nastly letter. Bad thing for them is I'm drinking....the longer it takes me to find out how to "Contact Them" the more severe the letter's gona get.

  I asked them why I can buy a book on child molestion but not a PlayBoy magazine. Also asked when, "How to Make Bombs Like the Teleban" was comming out because I wanted a copy.

  It's hard to be a former JW, DF, or DA if you still believe in what they teach. For me it is now hard being a former member and having nearly everything I truely believed in turn out to be a bunch of lies. It's a tough road but I see others have done it from being at the march. I know I can do it too.
