I agree with you. I was just trying to give some advise for people who have family still in and want to try to keep their relationship. I agree you should be proud of what life you live and not let them dictate your actions. Yes many are hunted down and killed in JW trems.

Just was stating it's possible, yet very hard, to do as I did, and fade. I'm sure they don't clarify the "former member" thing to keep the R&F confused.

wow... it's been awhile since i've posted, there are a lot of new names here.

i just had to post on this.... i received a letter from my mother friday telling me that she and my father no longer wish to associate with my husband or me.

they will contact me in case of emergency but thats it.

Ye of Little Faith

i am pained by the lack of faith by people on the board recently both in god and in general.. it is obvious that unbelievers in god would have such lack of faith.

but it is not confined to them alone but to others that though believers in god have little trust and confidence in him.. these of little faith constantly cry for proof and evidence both of god existence or in the case of bill bowens letter to the wts proof of govering body members guilt as child molesters.

they haven't the ability to believe or have faith without physical evidence.. one of my main mentors is tv minister fred price which i watch every sunday morning.

Personally...I'm tired of "waiting on Jehovah". 2000 years he's made no attempt to give any evidence he exists. All he'd have to do is send an angel to CNN to do something so noone could deny his existance.

That will never happen because the world would stop. I'm tending to make science and technology my god...at least they actually do something.

Hold up a sec.......is J.R. Brown just quoted as saying, "they don't have to call us first"? ROFL he just hung himself. What a f'n lie! Elders are specificly told to call the WT legal dept. first according to BOE letters.

Is J.R. Brown that stupid?? How can he make a claim like that when he knows he'll get hung in court for it?

WOW their stupidity is almost greater than their lack of love.
