  strange things are happening here in oz after the "silent witnesses" was seen on the sunday programme today.

  long-serving elders here in oz are getting unsettled already it seems.

  without compromising certain individuals, we can say that phone calls to certain participants are being received.

  Besides making my blood boil...thank u soooo much for posting the transcript on the CH 9 story!! I guess I have to just sit and wait until I can get some "official" transcript and video to show my family - I did order one from CH 9 - not sure if I'll get one though. I had to get an "official transcript" from Dateline for $15 because that was the only way my family would read it.

  My comments:

  I was very pleased with the emphasis that everyone but them is "SATAN".

  Also the insight on "Theocratic Warfare" and justified lying.

  I like the judges comments about criminal charges being brought against the JWs.

  The statement that it is none of the media's or state's business about what has taken place.......I had to pick my jaw up off the floor on that one.

  I have great sadness for the abused - the reason I mentioned the 4 comments before expressing my sorrow for the victims is because the first 4 may prevent anymore abuse cover-ups.

  In the follow up I would like to see more indept in how they place themselves higher than the secular authorties - the very ones they say are placed in their possition by God. Maybe their view of the internet and how it spreads "lies", using their quotes, because it really exposesses them as liars.

  This reporting was by far the best I have seen. It was simply amazing and very damaging to the JWs policies. You Austies pulled off the gloves and beat the sh*t out of the WTS. I am so happy - yet so sad. I cheered/screamed out loud and shed tears.

  If I can in any way help out let me know. Unspeakable thx to all who were involved! Hats off to those brave people who had the courage to speak out and say, I was wronged and something needs to be done about it!

  Caught on Tape Beating Child

  for some reason my real one player isn't showing the video so i don't know if it's my player or a problem w/the link.

  anyway i saw this on the news last night and again this morning.

  there is no telling where this woman is but somebody from somewhere must know who she is and i would think turn her in.

  This woman is now free on bond and is angry that her child is with strangers. "It's my mistake why should my child have pay for it?"

  If you listen to this woman talk it reinforces that she is complete "trailer trash". She's mad at authorities. Ummm has she seen the tape? She's mad at authorities?! This scum needs to strapped in a chair and have other parents punch HER in the head to get her to realize that in no way should she have custody of any child.

  Dateline wants to cover the March Sept 27

  the producer from dateline called us to make sure we would be at the march on the 27th.

  they are sending a film crew to cover it and i hope there will be a nice turnout to represent all who have had watchtower imposing silence of their sexual abuse.

  they may do a follow up to their earlier program that aired last spring.

  I have a 2nd car which if someone knows how to drive stick (seriously, I don't want the trannie or clutch ruined). If anyone want's to make a stop in Cleveland, OH or drive to there and take my other car - I'll consider it if it means someone who REALLY NEEDS to be at the march will be there. Or you can sit the back seat of my Porsche ( I highly do not recomemnd that) and watch movies. Offer available - drop me a line if you want.

  Sorry, have to say that the BAD economy was a product of the Clinton administration. For 8 years they allowed corporate leaders to act as they did. The Bush administration now has to act on and fix what the Clinton administration allowed for 8 years. Watch some CNN they make a lot of sense.

  I again wonder if someone would have acted out against Hitler....... would we have had WWII? I don't know. Hind sight is 20/20.

  Without reading otheres replys I will make an initial statement. I will probobly edit after I read others comments.

  My take about Democrats is YES! they basically try to punish those who are successful and financially stable (like myself). They seem to want the few who have had financial success to have to carry the rest of the nation. I once heard that 10% of America pays 90% of the taxes. I can not confirm this but it makes sence. Think about the revenue generated from taxes from the saleries of NFL, MLBA, NBA players......and from high level exectuvites in the business world. Bill Gates probobly pays more taxes than some states as a whole! (completely unconfirmened but you get my drift).

  Are they evil? Not in their heart but I think they prey on the majority of America. The majority of America isn't driving a new car let alone a Lexus or Porsche. There is also a major welfare reform act in the process (TANF). I'm all for getting people back on their feet and for educating people and having them be a productive part of their community. I fully support my tax dollars going for that.

  What I don't want are my tax dollars going to people who continually have children out of wed-lock and expect me to support their kids (use a GD rubber), people who know that financially speaking you are better off and make more money on walfare than getting a job, or those who expect responsible people who can manage money and their life to have to bail them out for THEIR poor decisions.

  Unfortunately very few can see things from my side - they automacially say I'm an insensitive prick. I fully support educating and helping people out. That is a very good policy but it gets abused immensely! Good welfare reform will make a better life for people and their families.

  I watch "CrossFire" on CNN with an open mind. 9 times out of 10 I favor the Republicians because it just makes sense to me.

  Major network calls for official investigation

  in providing damning evidence of a massive cover-up of criminal activities by its members, channel nine has called for an "official investigation into the wts".

  a judge of the supreme court has also expressed "i am surprised that the police have not taken action against the church authorities.

  i hope they will do so.

  I may be taking a long shot here but is this a Jean Kraus from the Cleveland, OH area? I know of a Jean Kraus from my young years as a Dub. I also knew of Jene Tenke who recently died. He also was from the Cleveland, OH area. SL had Jean Kraus as someone to say you know to get discounted rates for hotels for the march. Can anyone give me any more info?
