NOTJUSTYET: or you could go there from this site and look up a completely random congregation, just to mess with them
Do you think they might get worried if they saw that a huge number of their visitors were visiting apostate sites also?
apologies if this has already been posted, but just noticed on jw.org that as well as a 'convention' search there is now a 'meetings' search.. my hometown congregation is there along with address and times and phone numbers.

my mother has the c.o staying and told her the new zealand bethel is about to be closed and the land and buildings sold.. .
karter..
which other bethels have been closed down recently? I only know of Ireland and now NZ.
first of all, i really appreciate it when official, especially "secret," boe letters and the like are posted here.
it's great to have that stuff on hand, straight from the horse's... uhh...mouth, when certain "friends" deny the slave would ever do or say such and such.... anyway, there have been some references to a letter they sent out about using ipads and the like during congregation meetings.
could anyone provide a scan or link to this letter?
I can confirm that this letter has been sent out in the UK too.
Gotta love their wacky rules
i had a few vinos...thought id treat myself after painting the shed and doing hours of planting.....now im drunk and talking shite.
probly should have gotten hubby some cold beers while i was at the shop.....whoops........ sunshine + wine = stupidity.
i put some prawns on a plastic plate and under the grill to warm for 30 seconds, closed the door and forgot about them.....blue stringly plastic all over my oven.........oh dear...... .
haha enjoy it! I'm super jealous.
I can't drink, I'm pregnant Summer just isn't going to be the same this year.
once upon a time there was a new brother named dave.
dave was new to the faith, and once he was baptized, he started to aux pioneer, and he finally made it to a "regular pioneer", sometimes "special pioneer hours".
dave had a very good feel for a certain demographic, he success rate was tremendous, and his ability to understand scriptures, remember society literature, did not go unnoticed by certain jealous shepherds.
Sounds like a psychopath to me.
And the complete opposite to the elders in my cong. If a sister tries to GIVE them a study they ain't interested.
i use usualusername as i am not creative enough to think of anything sexier.... .
what significance is there behind your profile name?.
.
I'm extremely cynical and suspicious about everything and everyone which is probably what led to me waking up.
I'm a Princess and you should all treat me as such
please let me know the age of the youngest child getting baptised.. i knew of a girl of 11 years.. .
i know someone who was baptised at 9 and started regular pioneering at 10 (homeschooled, got dragged around with her pioneer mum) and is still going 10 years later. She had no proper education, no life experience and seems a bit scared of the real world.
well it's that time of year again and the invitations to another pointless memorial aka reject jesus party is now in full swing.
even though it's only the first day i'm already more than sick of it!
this is the first year i am fully mentally awake for the memorial season, and honestly i'm so sick of it all!
yep, they're all fake-pioneering doing fake ministry thinking they're sooooo spiritual and earning their salvation. It's a complete joke

well I got dragged out this morning for a congregation effort and we were assigned some rural territory miles away. We stopped to get breakfast on the way and by the time we got there it was pouring with rain and my husband just drove past the territory, past all the witlesses and kept on going! We had a lovely drive around the countryside and stopped for lunch in another town before coming home and jumping back into bed.
Best Saturday Morning Field Service Ever. My husband is learning well. We showed our faces but didn't do a single door. I'll put a couple of hours on our reports and that's us done for the month.
i was 25 years a congregation member; ten years an elder; all told, up to 18 years an appointed man; a decade or so as a full-time minister; assembly speaker, with the pinnacle giving the public discourse at a district convention.. .
i stopped being an active member of the congregation in november 2010, but it had been brewing for several years, with the customary gradual drifting away - all the necessary mental gymnastics as my spiritual views changed and doubts set in; quitting the theocratic ministry school; ceasing to answer; sitting quietly off to the side.
i think the straw that broke the camels back was when family worship inevitably became family worship.
wishing you all the best for tomorrow I'll be thinking of you
