  i get all the good things about being in the cong, good social life lots of invites to bbqs and meals out.

  hi everyone i’m a pimo elder ex bethelite and pioneer who has been having doubts for many years.

  as of late i’ve come to have even more doubts mainly due to the gb pushing the vaccines and acting like salesman for big pharma companies .

  i will never take these vaccines even if it meant i couldn’t go to the hall as was previously said but the gb have done a big u turn on this now.

  our learned companion named scholar JW has shown incredible tenacity over many years promoting the legitimacy of the Borg.

  Who can forget the tussles that he and I had together with the excellent poster hillary_step almost twenty years ago?

  Whilst disagreeing wholeheartedly with scholar’s point of view, I must acknowledge his loyalty, his tenacity and indeed endurance over so many years to the interests of the Borg.

  That is not to say that some very genuine good people have worked on that with joy, , but so have members of others groupings

  Precisely! Like the local gun club or the knitting circle or….ad infinitum.

  When I think of the OP and being PIMO and faking it, I wonder just HOW many Witnesses in any given congregation are genuine?

  and I wonder about the Bethelites too. I can recall many years ago, when I was ‘in’,having conversations in the corridor at the branch office about certain ‘anomalies’ in teachings - all in very hushed tones of course ! I knew at that time some leaders had doubts. They were willing to “wait on Jehovah”. What about now? I wonder.

  Are you saying that it is only in the Anglican church there are Christians?

  Now come on!

  the important ‘label’ is to be known as a christian. They happen to attend a particular church but unlike JWs they don’t see themselves in a separate religion (or even the “true christians” ) because of the particular church or denomination they attend.

  let’s return to that then, they see themselves as christians who happen to attend an anglican church.
