BTW it was spelt Mainwaring.
Anyway he projected the template for āspiritualā men (as he was a large man himself) and came accompanied by a loyal, much smaller, subservient wife.

The fact that his beloved Caddy is parked out front tells me he flew offshore or out of the region to stay/sponge.

From my own understanding in the land Downunder, my take is that it was not a mea culpa by the GB (WTleadership) of the time but rather derived from a reprimand of the local i.e. Australia branch, leadership during a visit to the branch.

that the wt "self insures" kingdom halls has come up in occasional conversations on here.
how exactly does that work?
do they* actually set aside a portion of the monthly remittance from each kingdom hall and save into a pool to cover damage etc.
An interesting question and I suspect a discussion is back in the archives.
I should know the answer to this (ālet the reader use discernmentā as to why) but Iām suffering from memory lapse that comes from old age and Iāll follow the responses with interest.

if it was the former times of me on this esteemed forum, I would have spent hours in writing a refutation of this tome, chapter by chapter, but honestly nowadays I havenāt the time left in my life and Iām sure it doesnāt take the likes of me to point out the flaws in this āwork of artā.
Suffice to say, what a load of pseudo theological work ! Thereās so many errors in scriptural interpretation itād take another book to refute it.
