My dear late wife (Mrs Ozzie) had a good friend who was a former Gilead missionary who continually was looking for “new truths” in the pages of the Watchtower magazine. So she earnestly read ‘between the lines’ looking for new insights, being ready to announce to us less gifted some new ‘gem’ straight from on high.

new boy: I will be 74 on November 1, 2022, almost 80.
Did we ever think we’d be able to say that when we were “in” ?
I always told my kids I’d never get old but now I’m here, I gotta say, it aches !!!

Well G’day Mum ! I remember you from h2o days. So much has happened since those ‘early days’!
Good to ‘hear’ from you again. As we say Downunder, owyergoin ? I hope life has been good for you these past years. I’m sure your story will help many.
Cheers,

ESV which we irreverently refer to downunder as the “Eastern Suburbs Version”!
At church we, like most here Downunder, use the NIV

Another congregation closed
by hoser in15 years ago there were 5 congregations now there is only one and it is still struggling.
congregations closing their doors doesn’t mean business is good.
it looks like this last one to fold had no young witnesses, they either left the religion or moved.

- The one thing the Hateful Eight has always lacked is love for their own people. How ironic that the only mark of a Christian is love. Not faith. Not obedience. Love
An insightful comment. So true.

My thoughts are that their leadership has taken GRACE out of their bible and replaced it with Undeserved Kindmess, and this alone perverts their attitude toward forgiveness
I agree and it’s what I would have liked to convey a couple of pages back.
