  well, it's officailly in print now.

  the 10 toes of the statue have no significance.. that was worth going to last summer's covention to find out wasn't it!.

  i'm fading and still attend some meetings, so i'm still fluent in current theocrapic pure language, but read this quote from the new wt and see if it doesnt scream freaky deaky cult at you.

  China is not a superpower??? Then why the hell did the US have to borrow billions from them to keep the country from collapsing during a recession?!? Half the stuff in my house is made in China too. The WT doesn't seem to keep up on world events and the sheep just accept what they are told as fact.

  I went out last night for St. Patricks day (OK just an excuse to drink) didn't have much fun because my best bud's girl was in a foul mood and brought us all down. So, I drank a little more than I usally would have and paid for it this morning. Now I'm just enjoying a lazy Sunday in sweatpants and thank god the hangovers gone.

  Question for elders about MEMORIAL EMBLEMS...

  what is done with the bread and the wine after the conclusion of the memorial?.

  is it normally tossed in the trash and poured down the drain?.

  if so, wouldn't that be simbolic of throwing jesus' body in the trash and pouring his blood into the sewer?.

  One year the secratary called me in the back and kept handing me glasses of wine wo drink. After I downed 3 glasses in less than ten mins he was like "You aren't driving tonight are you? Yep. I am taking a carfull of bethelites home, but Jehovah will look after us!"

  i just heard this within the last day.. i had no clue that the society had a travel agancy within its offices!.

  anyhoo, in the area i live they called numerous hotels for deals for the convention and the gm whom i know through friends told me that they play hardball in getting the maximum commission possible for refering people.

  he said the average is about 10 to 15 percent of the room cost.

  This doesn't make sense, don't the JW's call the hotel directly from the list and pay the hotel when they leave? Thats how we always did it.

  bought a kindle 3g last fall.

  i have read a couple of dozen books on it and find it almost addictive.

  book prices are more than reasonable and it is very convenient to read.

  I got a kindle fire and love it. I cant post on here from it or I almost would have no need for a laptop anymore. I prefer to read on it instead of a real book now and I usually carry it with me to work if I expect a slow day.

  If you do not, and have never in the past disrupted a meeting, most cases you would not be kicked out. The magazines now are just left out on the counter so you can just take a few for yourself. If you cause a disruption, you are considered trespassing and they can ask you to leave.

  Peter DENIED Jesus to protect himself and Jesus forgave him. Yet in the holocaust JW's who were offered to deny an earthly organziation would rather be tortured than lie to the nazi regime.

  How blind they are to the bible's guidance on love and forgiveness. They value their rules over the lives of the sheep.

  Why do JW's hate EX-JW'S more than WORLDLIES?

  do they feel intimidated by the fact that ex-jw's know all about the way they function as an organization?

  (well except what happens at the "back room" and at gb decision making meetings)..... is it because they can still "catch" worldlies?.

  ...or is it because ex-jw's could poison those still in "the truth"?.
