yesterday, when i was driving through holland, michigan, i was a little lost looking for the human resources office.
i was heading down a busy divided four lane street unfamiliar, when i looked up and there it was, a kingdom hall in all it's radiant three day quick-build glory.
and for the first time, rather than just the usual cringe, i felt angry!.
Anger shows that we have come to the knowledge that WTS is full of carp. Anger in this case shows we know we were kept ignorant, and that now folks we love (and will always love) continue (voluntarily) like "lemmings to the sea." I recently read something interesting about those lemmings jumping into the sea --- they don't jump; they are pushed by those behind them who haven't seen those dangerous cliffs yet. Sound familiar?
I still get heatedly angry w/ anything WTS.

in march 2005 i was very weak spiritualy and began to read apostate litterature.
by one month i was wishing to quit the wts.
At 15 you are making some amazing descisions. My hope is that you will continue to answer your own questions in your own time. I think that body building sounds like fun. I've known people of varying ages who've taken up body building and they always seem to enjoy the company they keep.
If this helps; every human being has some level of fear of change. You sound like you had a panic attack. I feel for you and totally know where you're coming from. Religion is such a personal and highly emotional subject that you'll find gaining knowledge about the JW's organization will help, because after you've gained knowledge (they really are a book publishing company pretending to serve God) you really are stuck with knowing it, good or bad, pro or con.
yesterday i noticed that there were at least 3 newbies who signed up and posted.
almost every day we have at least 1 new person sign up and post.
that of course doesn't include those who sign up and don't post.. i've read numbers that stated it took so many hours of witnessing to make 1 baptized jw.
Thank you for doing the number crunching. It must have the GB concerned ; but hey ya' know the greater number is cooling off, people are makingn their choice and taking their stand --
I think the internet has helped bunches of JWs leave and find new communities of friends. I wish more of us more mature ex-Jdubs were here but you'd have to figure out that computer internet thing, and then buy one, and then use it ... oh well
But don't get me wrong I am really glad to see newbies (hooray newbies) I am soooo dang happy that the next generation of JWs is internet transfused and not about to put up with the lies. I wish I had been as smart as they are and never become a dub.

Right now his family are all blaming themselves and each other. I hope they will end up being a comfort. I cannot even imagine.

Wow I never even heard of Covington. But I do see why he went back to the WTS. Because he was a recovering alcoholic he needed to replace his addiction with a higher power. What higher power did he know but Rutherford's religion? So many brilliant people become addicts of something. Absolutely fascinating interview!

It's as if my tongue is no longer tied and it is so easy to allow those melodic words to flow. Now I often say to Mr.Panda *fick you* and we both laugh. We also throw grenades at each other but that's just us.

The Producers (the original with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder) absolutely fabulous; but how old are these kids thay may not like it.
