This is all very interesting. But no one has ever answered this question reasonably ; Where is heaven? I don't recall the Scriptures ever addressing this point and I think it's important to know where the future will be... don't you?

Severe Forest Fires in Western Canada

how are things near you?
i understand that parts of alberta are experiencing some nasty forest fires, but the images i saw on-line and in the daily paper: disturbing.

This is awful. How will those displaced by fire rebuild? The entire area will be ash for years. What will happen? Will the government rebuild or build somewhere else? How devastating. Were there people living in the area w/ livestock? Were they able to relocate in time?
I hope all on the list will be ok.

Not only Nanking (today NanJing) but also the horrible biological weapons tested on the Chinese people of HeiLongJiang (Manchuria) entire areas were bombarded with various plague and chemicals, then the victims were dissected OFTEN STILL ALIVE so the Japanese could watch how the diseases or chemicals were "progressing". Many people in Northern China who lived through the plague eventually died from future complications. I believe chemical and biological warfare are wmd.
Many servicemen were also experimented on by the Japanese in China. Brits, Aussies, Americans all captured and turned into human petrie dishes. They were frozen to see how long they could be frozen and live. Now, lets see I guess that doesn't count because it's not nuclear?
If nothing else... SH used wmd on the Kurds. You've all seen the film footage. And if you don't care about the Kurds how about OsamaBinLaden gassing puppies in Afghanistan? I wonder where his killer gas came from? Maybe the same place his dialysis equipment came from? Maybe, huh?

Under his grand palace is a huge bunker w/ weapons etc. SH regime was a grandiose fascade over a a siege state. He'd rather have some innocents killed just to make sure to get all of the plotters.
Hey nobody asked you to fight. US has an all volunteer military. Have some sense of proportion and do something to support all of the forces attempting to make Iraq a better place for Iraqi's. Also read Michael Mendelbaum's "Ideas that Conquer the World" a fastenating political post-Cold War take on politics and economy. Why the global economy is reliant on both democracy and free markets. REal freedoms and not corporatism. Control by psychopaths of an entire nations GDP is no longer acceptable to the global economy. The Iraqi people, like the people of Qatar will finally benefit from their natural largesse.
There has never been a war fought like this one. Ask any WWII vetran. They'll tell you. SO peace and love.

at 2:00am pacific time my son was awakened my his drill instructor, in the next 54 hours he will do a variety of team tasks, sleep 4 hours at the most and have two rations between he and his buddy.
he is in the cruicible, for the marine corp. he has to finish to graduate...so all prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

Please send money; send recruits' essentially [that's the meaning] and I expect they'll continue until the folks that like to make those tapes are captured or killed."
You've gotta love this guy. No fussing about hurting some murderers feelings, or stepping on his delicate religiousity. Nope Mr.R just says "these bad guys ought to be dead, or something like that."
All of this on top of the news of a Qaeda hide out being raided. The hideout contained experimental explosives hidden in cameras and flash attachments, included was information about fund raising and recruiting. Who knew? I guess now every camera wielding tourist will be checked... uhoh this could be troublesome. And let's add to this the recent car bombing of a US hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia by the Jemaah Islamiyah ( Indonesian AlQueda) . Gee... Does anyone else think that targeting America has become THE jihad of the century?

Feeling Powerless and Vulnerable
by Swan inthe past several nights i have had very disturbing dreams that, while not the nightmares i used to have, still leave me feeling powerless and vulnerable.
i feel like the other shoe will drop soon and i feel totally unprepared while just waiting for it to happen.. in one dream i witness my niece as a little girl back when she was first starting grade school.
since i have never known my nieces and nephews as teenagers, i tend to dream of them as they were when they were children.

Tammy, I just read your post about your dreams. I think you have a very healthy mind to have such clear feelings and remembrance of your dreams. I've read that in Jungian psychology that all of the people in the dreams are actually portions of yourself. Any saving you do you do to yourself, any guilt you feel for not doing enough has to do with your feelings of not having tried enough to remain in "prison" where you really don't want to be. Saving someone who died is trying to save parts of yourself from the changes you're going through.
My father inlaw used to write down his dreams and then take them to a psychiatrist to dig into. I know this helped him tremendously.
