Seems like an old 'bug' that we had control of, but

60,000 is a lot!

I was too, there are treatments for it (man figured this out not god), but for many poorer countries this is not an option. What is interesting to me about this virus is that it affects animals much more than humans. If it claims 60,000 humans a year, how many animals does it claim?

It causes tremendous human and animal suffering, and is yet another perfect example of how reality just flat out does not reconcile with the idea of a loving god.

A god that would give us rabies? He/she sounds pretty mean.

Pretty mean indeed, nothing like the loving and just god's portrayed in many religious texts.

i think everyone here can agree that walking down the street, even in the middle of the street, is not cause for having a clip emptied in your ass......... i can understand how the black community would be outraged by the injustice of seeing another black man dead in the street at the hands of the police under mysterious circumstances....... i hope that i'm not succumbing to the attempts to assinate the already well impuned character of the dead man...... however.

i can't help but think that this could all have been avoided by exercising the proper discretion with fore-knowledge of the disadvantages people of color have when they are dealing with law enforcement in the united states.

it is not as if this disadvantage has only since recently came to light.

The irony of this whole affair is off the charts. How many black youths are gunned down in the inner cities by other blacks? We never seem to hear of Obama and his political hack cronies inserting themselves in those cases do we? First it was the Duke affair, then the Cambridge Gates beer summit, then Trayvon Martin, now Ferguson, I'm so tired of crap like this. Why do black people continue to tolerate this shit, and support the race baiting liberal hypocrites and political hacks who claim to represent them? These hypocrites don't care about the real issues facing black communities, they only care about political stunts like these (which always backfire) to elevate their own status.

Surely they are better than this.

i poured over time magazine's sep 8-15 2014 edition article "who we are" and put together this spreadsheet on the results from their poll.

i found the statistics quite fascinating.. most people would say that "money doesn't buy happiness", but this poll seems to me to indicate the exact opposite of that.

it also correlates education levels with higher earning that result in that happiness.

AGM 2014 - How are faders gonna hide in plain sight anymore?

so two big changes in the org were announced in the most recent agm.. local needs part is replaced by "how do you know the truth" where all members will tell their experience (oh what fun).

basic pioneer role 10 only hours a month required (see, jehovah lightens our load, therefore he loves only us)!.

it seems like they have really turned up the heat here.

I think it's always been easier for sisters to hide in plain sight and not do anything than for brothers. Hopefully the ones that are still fading can share some good ideas to make it easier for others that are fading. I know how hard it can be, and especially so with this latest revelation, I wish you all the best of luck in the game of shadows.

Now they have really gone for the death knell. Their plan is most likely to make it so that children have no excuse to watch worldly TV, or youtube. By doing this, they take away the only good source of education, that exposes them to free thinking, and that showcases the rotten history of religion and cults.
