Well one day I was listening to a sound byte of Glenn Beck going on this tirade about how the U.S. needs to support Israel, and that the forces of evil are all arrayed against Gods shinning country on the hill the U.S. I thought to myself what a weird thing to say. I know that many others hold this idea too, the Born Again's, Mormons and methodists come to mind. In fact I think Rick Perry even made some similair statements during his campaign. It would just be interesting to know what their reasoning was to come to that conclusion that God is on the side of the United States to the exclusion of other countries.

If a god would intervene in earth's impending destruction, then why don't we see any evidence of god's hand in the rest of the universe?
Brilliant point of logic, made me think about how inconsistent it would be of him to intervene in mans/earths affairs.

What if Adam knew his wife, before the sin?
by Nambo ini sometimes wonder how things would have been if adam and eve had procreated before eating from the tree of knowledge, and the ramifications of such.. if any children didnt also eat of the tree, would we now have two groups of humans on earth, one perfect and living forever, and us.. would god have split the two classes of human, putting eden on another planet or dimension or such?.
does this indicate that its all deliberate, that god knew satans plan so let the play unfold before letting adam and eve know each other?.
or does it just mean that satan was allready corrupted and wanted to get his deed done at the very beggining to ensuer he had everyone?.

3.5 years vs. a lifetime of going door to door.
by tootired2care indid it bug you as a witness that jesus only had to go from door to door for 3.5 years, and he was done; while he demanded that you do it for your whole life without preparing for the morrow?
i just remember a few years back reflecting on the daunting prospect of doing it my whole life if the end didn't come - "sooner rather than later".
what are your thoughts?.

So what about never preparing for the morrow, and leaving it all in Gods hands, and never really knowing where you stand as you go through these patterns your whole life. I looks at kids, kids like to have confirmation/validation occasionaly to let them know they are on the right path, and really believe in what they are doing. Do you ever wonder about such things?

Good point on the translations, I just wanted to highlight the bibles plan for the earth, and how it really contradicts what we are able to see now because of science.
