  October 2nd, 2014: The World Ends Tomorrow, Taking all Bets!

  on october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, founder of the watchtower, announced that the gentile times have ended!.

  tomorrow will be exactly 100 years since his historic announcment.. to commemorate this centennial occasion, i will gladly take bets in any amount of money that the world will not end tomorrow and that on friday, october 3rd, 2014 gmt, we will still all be here, for better or worse.. any die-hard jws interested in taking the other side of this friendly little wager?

  still hoping the big "a" is coming tomorrow and your loving god, jehovah, is going to commit mass genocide and execute 99.9% of earth's population because they don't follow the dictates the 7 members of the "faithful and discreet slave," aka, the governing body of jehovah's witnesses?.

  hey guys just wondering if anyone can recall a recent watchtower ( maybe a year ago ) that had an article aimed at minor children on dealing with a disfellowshipped parent.

  ive had a dive thru jw.org but coudnt find it before i wanted to vomit.

  can anyone help recall what issue it was.

  Why did you pick the name you have now

  just wondering if your name describes what you saw, how you were treated when you were "in" or now "out", maybe your personality, ect.... i'm label licker and the why i picked this name was because of all the licking up one side of elders and down the other to either be an elder or ministerial servant.

  one time i was standing right in front of this brother who wasn't made an ms yet and he totally ignored me and talked right over my head speaking really loud trying to catch the co's attention.. got sick of watching the poor elderly sitting all alone or standing against the wall like a wall flower with noone to talk to and yet all these label lickers would take turns picking up the elders elderly parents and take them shopping and do their groceries at least four times a week while out in service, yet, there was noone there to take a meal to a sister who just got out of the hospital with a heart attack.

  when i had shown up at her apartment with a meal she asked if i could wash her private and change her bandages.

  Well ive always been a bit goat like and when i got DF i was certainly used as a scapegoat by my ex. Figured the name of this goat shaped demon was rather appropriate.

  just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

  it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

  at times in histroy the ruling classes have used marking or tatooing as a mark to notify the public of how to respond or be warned with regard to the individual bearing the mark.. in some cultures this marking practice has caused more problems than it solved.

  these individuals have banded together and gained influence among the populace, some for good purpose, some for bad.. i would like to think that our collective purpose is good.

  our purpose should be educational, informing those who are in, and out, that this organization has lost god's approval if it ever had it at all.. inorder to do that we must not shrink away from those who are in when we see them in public.

  Up untill recently i got that quessy feeling whenever i encountered a JW even a related on.The other night i was out celebrating a friends Birthday at a restaurant in Sydney and there was a party of 16 JW out for dinner on DA night u know suits ,ties Badges etc etc.

  This was the first time i didnt really feel anything at all about the JWs. I was really happy. I gave a great un-witness to my friends ( who are varying stages of heavy tattoos ) that they would consider us "worldy" and in line for destruction by God. I was tempted to go shit stir but i wouldnt like my ex and my kids being harrased out for dinner so i didnt.
