I bought a Xmas Tree
by In_between_days inyesterday, i did something i would have never thought in a million years id be doing: my husband and i went out and bought a xmas tree!
we spent yesterday decorating it, and setting up the lights.
i t looks beautiful in our loungeroom and we are really proud of it!.

Have you joined another religion?
by freedom96 ini don't think i will never join another organized religion.
that being said however, i have enjoyed going on occasion to non-denominational churches, watching the band play music, and the speaker.
if you did or would attend another church regularly, which one would you go to and why?

Im Scared
by Shytears inim scared....im trying to think for my self and make my own decisons on the jw religin.but everytime i go to meetings,they scare me with all the armaggendon bull,and makes me feel bad for wanting to date and do"normal things".i mean i want to think for myself,it just seems like they think for you....you have to this and follow that because the wts says so.
and bullshit to loving and kindness in the congregation could have fooed me!!

What are You all Doing Here?
by TisInYourWishbone ina friend of mine recommended i peruse this forum because he is of the impression i would find it rewarding.
the basis of his recommendation was due to a very long friendship and not due to any association (that i do not have) with jehovahs witnesses.
he considers me his superior in intellect and wants an appraisal of this sight but to be honest i have neither the incliniation nor the time to get in deep enough to comment.

My DA was announced
by LB inmy mole inside just e-mailed me that it was announced from the podium that i've disassociated myself.
funny thing though.
one of the girls that we took to maui a few years ago just called to invite us to her wedding.

The Watchtower Plot Against Us
by Sirona inthe watchtower organisation has been guilty of major coverups and blatant lies.. it does not want ex jws telling others what they know.. does it ever occur to you that the watchtower have people who post on this board, gathering information about us?
they could use it against us at any time....they could keep a record of what we say on our posts and establish who we really are.. e.g.
people who i hardly ever speak to on this board suddenly seem to know details about me.

Who's Marching On The UK Bethel?
by Englishman into be quite frank, i haven't yet decided whether i shall go or not.
part of me wants to take part for the sake of those children who have been abused, another part of me recognises that i also want to see the wt humbled, and that my motives are not as pure as they might be.
