Final Prediction on Election

My intuitions say Trump will win, but again I cannot get away from the idea that it seems hard to see how the polls can be so off.... again.

Perhaps they can and will, and if that is the case polls will be forever useless, and all of the pollsters should close down their businesses forever.

If Trump wins, liberals will lose their mind. I believe there will be some serious violence on the streets, and I suspect that the national guard will be called up in many liberal states.

100% chance that it will be contested on either side and that unsettling alone will cause violence. We already know radical leftists will be out burning and looting, but i'm hoping Trump supporters will stay away and let law enforcement deal with it.

The radical leftists are the new face of violence on the streets. If Biden wins there will be almost no unrest, perhaps the usual unrest caused by communists in liberal cities. I think Trump supporters will take it, even if they are unhappy, and be disappointed, but will not be looting and burning.

If Trump wins many liberals will completely lose their minds. They will completely be infuriated and disgusted at how Trump with so much going against him, including the media, social media giants, celebrities, polls, and everything was still able to pull it off.

If Trump wins it will be the greatest victory of democracy in recent times. Why? Because it will show that democracy still works. The will of the people still counts, even against all sorts of forces. It will be the will of the people over the will of the information machinery that sets the temperature of the country.

Yes, the next 4 years in many ways would be terrible. The liberal media will probably double down and the communists will double down, and accusations of racism and the "racializing" of everything will grow exponentially. Or maybe, just maybe the liberal establishment will finally realize that they need to come to the center if they want to win an election.

Remind re: The "Cult" Label

if you accuse people of being stuck in jw mindset or "cult-like" mentality simply because someone has a different view of politics than you, you'll be deleted.. it's insulting and a lazy substitute for having any real argument for a proper debate.. what next ... "you smell" ?.

Not all cults are religious.

Yes agree. Not only that but telling someone that he/she is displaying cult-like behavior is NOT an insult if it can be substantiated with facts. Likewise if someone "smells" that also can be substantiated with facts.

It is FACTS that should be the driving factor, not the idea that if someone is insulted that has to mean that whatever was said is not appropriate.

When you tell a JW that he/she is displaying cult-like behavior that person could just claim it's wrong because it hurts his feelings to. So what, if in fact that is the truth?

It is undeniably true that you can display cult-like behavior when it comes to politics, and to that extent, it is also undeniably true that there can be a parallel to other cult-like behaviors like JWs.

Moderator was more impartial that the others. Trump had a good night. He pressed the corruption theme and Biden was on the defense most of the night.

BTW, this whole Biden scheme to sell influence cannot go away. This needs to be pressed on full steam. It's just amazing that the main stream media is self censoring and trying to discredit it.

Since news reports are being edited or blocked to reduce/prevent negative results against Dems, what leads you to believe the reported poll results are actually genuine?

The fact that even conservative-led polls are showing Biden leads seems to indicate he actually might be. Look, idk, I guess we'll see in 2 weeks.

One thing is for sure, the turnout for this election will be the biggest perhaps in US history, and I suspect that many under 30 folks who normally can't get out of bed to vote, and going to be motivated by their friends and social media circles to vote. And that demographic slice is not favorable to Trump.

I get that some Trump voters are keeping their choice under wraps. I also know that perhaps it's possible that Democratic-leaning pollsters are running their polls in places that are favorable to them (to me this doesn't make a lot of sense. They should want numbers to be even so that it creates urgency in voters).

But does this account for the percentage difference we see? And for so many battleground states? I have some doubts.

I guess we'll see but one thing is for sure. If Trump wins despite the media control or the narrative, and despite the polls, and despite the mail in ballots, and despite the media censorship of Biden corruption, this would be by far the most spectacular against-all-odds win in the history of the country.

But I do think this is a pretty big mountain to climb at this point.

A simple drive around this state will show you Trump signs and banners outnumber Biden 10 to 1!

And I was in the western part of Virginia 2 weeks ago, and I saw Trump signs in lawns as far as the eye can see, but yet, VA has not voted republican since 2004.

Hillary Clinton lost PA in 2016 by 44,000, and this is Hillary, one of the worse candidates ever. Sleepy Joe is from PA. Maybe he'll also lose it, but again, I know polls are not always reliable, but it seems the numbers are bad across the board.

If Trump wins despite the current numbers, then you might has well throw poll numbers in the garbage forever.

Not really. The disinformation machine is keeping it under wraps. The media controls the minds of Americans. As others said, if this was about Trump, it would be first page and leading story across every single news outlet in the country. But yet again, the sheep American surrenders his mind to the media puppet masters

Chameleon Harris never even thought in her wildest dreams that she would have a backdoor entrance to the most powerful job in the world. It completely fell on her lap.

Trump is in trouble. Yes I know polls can be wrong, but if we can read the tea leaves, it seems that this might be a huge mountain to climb. Even though it happened once, I'm doubting he'll be able to pull the upset twice in a row. The numbers are looking bad, and Trump is not helping himself with the last bad debate. Let's see how he does tomorrow.

Being Removed From Facebook and Twitter

i have a very good friend who has been banned from facebook simply because he makes remarks positive about president trump and negative toward the democratic party.

he has tried to get back on facebook and it appears there is no way for him to return.

people are being removed from social media platforms simply because they have a different political view.

I have to say that I have seen this type of censorship with my own eyes in two ways:

1 - What I have noticed in FB lately is that any posts that appear on my feed that are criticisms of Biden or anything on the left, will have a fact check section right below the post linking to a website that attempts to discredit that criticism. Now, this perhaps this would seem like a good idea, until you realize this is only done in favor of Biden and it's done across the board on every criticism. So basically if you were to believe FB, every single criticism of Biden is false, and deserves fact checking, and every single criticism of Trump is true. I have yet to see one criticism of Trump that is complemented with some fact checking.

2 - Facebook actively censors even posts. I replied to a post recently about the protests where I made the point that BLM and much of the protests are centered around Marxist ideology. I received several replies to my comment where we exchanged some comments and where I supported my comment with facts and data. In less than 5 minutes after my initial post, my comment and all the replies were gone and unavailable to comment anymore. They magically disappeared, which I was baffled that it was removed so quickly. Of course all other comments in the main thread were still there, but mine was gone.

first off all you have to do is cross the border and buy a car.

if they will not let you license it in the state then many will license it out of state.

moving away from fossil fuels is a good idea, because they are not the future, and they are not unlimited. At some point, we face the simple fact that oil will run out sooner than the sun or the wind.

So, we need to continue to invest in research of products that are comparable and that don't rely on them. Even if currently creating electrical cars involves burning fossil fuels or mining of some metals, we don't just throw our hands up and say....well we give up.
