I'm all torn up Inside
by Patriot ini've had two nights wihtout being able to sleep.
i've been turning all night.. i'm having images of my old days in the gulf.
from first being dropped in at 1500 feet to the stupid republican guard holding there ground.. i see and feel the blackening sky as the oil wells were lit on fire and the intense heat they produced in an already oven like country.. i feel so bad for my old comrades as they encounter the "new enemy" and feel as if i abandoned them.. i should be there i keep thinking...i should be there..i should..i should....*.

My old Unit the "Mountaineers" 10th Mountain Division out of NY are under heavy and intense fire...I cant get my mind off of it, I really can't.
"Jesus", I keep thinking.." should I go back"? "Should I re-enlist and join my old unit"?
I'm so sad right now I even have tears in my eyes....what to do?
I feel like if it's unfinished business..I should go back...but I don't know what to do.Mav.- Thinking of my old platoon "Wolverines"

I just think it's unfortunate for Dutchie's aunt ot have put her entire life on hold for the WT ideology.
I wonder if she regrets not getting married sooner. Now she cant have kids and must pray that she live through the big "A" or else, no marraige for her.....EVER FOR EVER.

Lol beck.
Only one flaw, according to the society, the resurrected people will not have "the need" to marry for there is "something better" for them.
So if Elvis is indeed resurrected, noone will be able to marry him.

Warrant to search the Kingdom Hall
by roybatty inback in the late 1980s, i recall being at one of my first elders/servants meeting with the circuit overseer.
at this meeting the co read a letter from brooklyn regarding the records kept at the kingdom hall and what to do if the police/sheriff showed up with a warrant to remove them.
if i remember correctly, we were told not to cooperate with them, to stall them and to contact the societys lawyers.

If there were to be a subpoena served (at least here in NYC) the elders can kick and scream all they want but the recordes WILL be seized. They can try to stop the police or DA but that will just get them an abstruction charge.
Just like Robocop said: Dead or alive your coming with me".

Sam Beli, undecided , beck wasaS, and grandparents
by Patriot ini was wondering since you guys have put some serious time in with the wt, how it felt "back in the days" when major changes occured within the org.. in recent times, it seems that only a few people stop to really think about the changes in doctrine that the wt makes, e.g.
generation theory, the voting issue and the certain parts of blood that are now acceptable.. did the same happen in your time?
did little or anyone at all complain, murmur, get "cold" or simply just leave when certain changes were made?

Thanks Beck,
You know, I remember thinking that the "end" would come by 1988. There was so much enfasis on the end when I was in H.S. But then there was announcment mad that the WT was going to break ground on a new project (this was like in 1985).
The project was the "Sands" building on 90 sands street, part of the bethel home complex. The announcment asked every publisher to make a specific weekly donation so that the projet can be finished.
It was expected to be don by 1988!! So I thought " huh? but isnt the end coming? Why is the WT building so many new buildings and starting so many new projects ( in that time the Gilead school in Paterson was also about to start) if the end is near and we won't have to pay for the materials, let alone need a 'bethel' "?
It was crazy, the end is around the corner but in the meantime give us your money so that we can build something that is predicted to be finished in 10 to 15 years!!

Did the same happen in your time? Did little or anyone at all complain, murmur, get "cold" or simply just leave when certain changes were made? For example, were any of you around for the constant changes made regarding organ transplant?
How did people react to that? Not accepting an organ transplant and dying only to have the WT change their opinion a few years later can stir up comments in the R&F. Did it?
How did you feel?

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that I have not heard anything as stupid as what this moron nyt wrote:
"and being half spanish and the most athletic kid in school...people
didnt think about "fronting" on me."Is that supposed to mean that us hispanics intimidate the rest of the races?
You are so goddamned stupid that you're not even using the slang "fronting" in the correct sense, idiot!
You must be some type of computer geek with 2 dozen pens in a pocket protecter in your breast shirt pocket.
You try to come accross as some tough guy but I can see now that your not. The only New Yorkers that I know that can't speak the slang but TRY to, are the geeks.
Nice try though. BTW don't kid yourself, you know as much as we do that you don't apply any Biblical priciples...not unless you lead a "double life".
Punk.
