I have to say that in all my nearly six decades of being a JW, from birth, I NEVER viewed what came from the Org/GB as "from jehovah" in any way more than it was their understanding of Scripture.
Maybe it was that sort of attitude that led an Elder, after I left to say to me, "I never viewed you as 100% a J.W" .
Back on Topic, more or less, "Where's Tony ?" has become the XJW's Where's Wally hasn't it ?
if a publisher openly told the elders that they thought the gb were wrong about some or a lot of things, but said they will not share these thoughts with anyone else then would this be a case of disassociation disgfellowship?.
my guess is lots of elders meetings and shepherding calls to try to get you to say something they could use against you.. but what would be the sin in which you are not repented?.
the only reason to be dissed is non repentance?.

Do you mean you have told several Elders you disagree with the GB, snd think they will respect your telling them in confidence ? The word naive comes to mind.

Most of the good letters, full of actual Scriptural truth and proof that the Org is wrong on matters, do not seem to get a reply now apparently !
Be careful folks ! The thing is, there is no way to leave with dignity, and no Statute of Limitations on when they will not DF you ! An Elder told me last year that they still considered me a JW ! after all these years ! Silly sod, I am a fully paid up Atheist Apostate, but he meant they would still DF me of I step out of line, and give them one chance at it !

I was repeatedly asked the "Loyalty" question, the Elders were not concerned with discussing my Bible based differences with J.W doctrine. If you say you do not agree with the GB's teaching they will DF you, if you discuss your reasonings with someone else, they will DF you, Cofty was DF'd for that very thing, just showing a letter he had written to H.Q to another person !
Be very careful, unless you don't mind being DF'd.
the bible says, that those who say 'there is no god' are fools.. april fools day yesterday, showed that people can be fools for believing something that did not happen.

Reading the verses in two Psalms that believers love to quote to us non-Theists, but reading them in the context of each Psalm, 10 and 14, it is clear that the Writer (s) of these Psalms are not talking of non-theists, but of people who ignore god's righteous ways.

This helped me in my waking up process, I had never heard of "quote mining" but I was interested in the Trinity Doctrine and how people could believe it, and looked up the source of one of those quotes in the brochure, I forget now which one exactly, but if you read just two paragraphs more in the quote you could see the writer was saying the OPPOSITE of what the bit the Org. quoted seemed to say !
They are fuc**ng liars ! But realising that made me really begin to question deeply, nobody who is teaching Truth needs to lie about it !

Whether the truth will ever come out, who knows ? But the WAY they did it speaks of something seriously embarrassing for the org. I would think with Legal ramifications too, as a possibility.
I simply cannot think it is the minor stuff being suggested by some, the curt announcement was hint enough, they were immediately distancing themselves, as a Body, from the now Pariah Morris.
all elders just got letters about this new blood card system .
“language-coordinating congregations will receive separate parcel(s) containing the revised durable power of attorney for health care (dpa-e) for all congregation(s) in their literature group.“.
my questions are - why the revision and what has been revised?.
I am not an expert in U.K law, but I don't think this card will be recognised in law as a Power of Attorney, it may, probably does, in the USA.
Do the very parochial and closeted GB realise this ?

i'm sure you're a very nice person and i don't want to get into an argument but rather a civil debate.
i just wanted to point out that as ex-jws many of us are a little obsessed with truth (not to be confused with "the truth" tm) and that after being burned by the watchtower society and hating ourselves for being so stupid to have fallen for its bs we have now become highly skeptical of the bible as well.
Thanks for Posting this Thread ! Some wonderful comments from " Liberty" , and all this stuff is still SO relevant, we still get exactly the same shite from believers, almost word for word.
