Does the Governing Body know it is ALL bullshit ? is a more pertinent question.

Does the Governing Body already know that Jehovah (the name) came from Babylon the Great?
by Chevelle ini'll start by stating the obvious... according to the watchtower, the catholic church is a huge part of babylon the great which is led by satan and his demons.
raymundus martini, a catholic monk (who "represents" babylon the great to some extent), woke up one day in the 13th century and decided to alter yhwh so it can be easily pronounced.
hence the spanish-ish version of yhwh was created... jehova... (sounds something like this in spanish: heh-o-va).

Is Disfellowshipping properly legislated?
by Rattigan350 inin the insight book under expelling, it refers to 1 cor 5 and titus 3 and 2 thess 3 as the basis for disfellowshipping.they've often said that the governing body was stated in acts 15 of the apostles and older men.
however, why was there no decree or letter issued by the governing body or apostles and older men and sent out to the congregations, detailing the principles of disfellowshipping?
it is all paul.

" Letter was only to Corinthians not all Christians."
Exactly !!! when Paul wrote to the Corinthians, only a few groups of his followers existed, the so-called "Governing Body", which it wasn't, no such thing existed in the 1st Century, but the Elders in the Jerusalem church were probably unaware of these Epistles for years.
The Org. also use verses from the Letters of John, for the D.F policy, but take these out of Context, those verses are talking of Christians who deny that the pre-existent Jesus came in the flesh, the Writer calls them for this reason "the Antichrist".

Is WT Using ATTENDANTS At The Conventions To Be: "TOY COPS"
by HiddlesWife ini have heard from a few ppimis and several pimos that the attendants who are stationedly-assigned to the front entrances of the borgvenues (cahs and other arenas) have been checking to see if any persons (members and non-member visitors) have badges.
on the other hand, if these persons don't have one, this is what i was told that these dubs do this: corral around the non-badge-wearing individual and interrogate he/she/them plus questioning them, "why are you here?!".
also, even if that person or persons have an invitation plus showed it to these dubs, these toy cops still do that procedure.

I wonder if these measures. along with all the hassle of going, plus it being bum-numbing and SO boring, attendance will drop even more ?
When I was still in, but wavering and waking up, we blew out the big Convention, nobody realised we were not there, so we never attended another Convention of any sort, and left about two years later for good.

Lots of empty seats at Jehovah's Witnesses Convention in Tucson, Arizona
by RULES & REGULATIONS inhttps://youtu.be/5926nhzyz90.
the jehovah's witness 2023 convention theme is, ''exercise patience''...by looking at the attendance at this tucson, arizona convention, it should be changed to, '' jehovah's witnesses...running out of patience''.

"we all know that assemblies are an endurance test even for younger healthy people;"
Yup, bum numbing and SO boring ! I remember as Elder had to do an item on the Service Meeting about all we had learned at the Convention, he had to go and visit my sister and borrow the copious notes she used to take, because he couldn't remember a thing !

JWs unrecognisable compared to my grandfathers time
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inmy grandfather who has been dead for 37 years would not recognise the borganisation today.
he would turn in his grave if he knew the end didn’t come by 2023.. back in the 1970s he really believed in the 75 thing.
he was so disappointed and almost blamed everyone else why the end didn’t come.

" and the current j .w's defend these out of date doctrines so aggressively!!🤷♂️"
But, they cannot do so EFFECTIVELY to the Public, that is another change from the days when I was young, we all used to have the ability to go toe to toe with anyone over Doctrine, I had several long discussions with Pastors/Vicars and on one occasion a Bishop ! I "sold" him the magazines, we charged for 'em then, he asked " How much will you charge me for these?" and I replied, giving a figure, and said " I will let you have them at Trade price !" LOL I didn't convince any of them, and in fact they put seeds of doubt in my mind !
Now it is all "Go to our Website", where again no success will come from, it screams "Cult", and does not give answers that any thinking person would accept, and would surely see through.

KGB infiltrated the Borg
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inwe from the old year books that some kgb undercover agents became elders in high up positions.. i wonder if this is going on today?
not just in russia but other congregations around the world?.
when you think how long it takes to become an elder and all the talks and maybe judicial committees they were involved with.. anyway i’m just throwing it out there if someone wanted to pay me i am a current elder who is pima about intelligence or chance involved with the origin of the universe.. .

I remember a JW Urban Myth, or it might even have been in a Yearbook ?? about how in one of those Countries the KGB were at work in, one supposed "Brother" was found dead, IIRC, struck by lightning Ha Ha, and the JW's found his KGB I.D on him !
Anybody else recall hearing this obviously made up nonsense ?

That reminds me of when I was on "Guard Duty" at the entrance to where all the cash was gathered together at a District Convention, as it was in those days, we could only let in Bros with a special mark on their badge.
I was doing the duty with a real sycophantic type, when the Convention Overseer went to go in, I stopped him, my co-guard whispered to me "You can't do that , he is the District Overseer and the Convention Overseer !", "Doesn't matter" I replied, "his badge just has his name on it, he could be anybody".
The D.O just smiled, and said " Well, are you going to let me in, Phizzy?", I replied, "Oh O.K then".
What Bro Sycophant did not know was I knew the D.O well, he and his lovely wife had stayed with us in our home a number of times when he was a C.O, it was a joke !

Reddit post about elder asking congregation for money to fix his car!
by LongHairGal inyes, there’s a post on reddit.
it says that after a zoom meeting a request was made to baptized publishers to give $20 apiece to fix this elder’s car.. while this sounds highly irregular to me and not necessarily approved by the religion, i am not at all surprised at the nerve.
this, unfortunately, seems to be the direction that things are going there!

Just an update on the Elder I mentioned on my earlier Post, saying " Getting back to Elder with Audi, my friend said "He has never worked since he left School " I must find out if she means worked full time, as I guess he must do part time, he is married with two kids."
I asked my friend, yup, he has not had even a part time job since leaving School a few decades ago ! apparently he is a ducker and diver, buys and sells stuff, but his wife works full time, my friend said he told her that when he mentioned some work needed doing on his car, a day later an envelope was shoved through his door with the necessary cash in it, apparently "Jehoober provided," because he is a Pioneer.

Thanks Dio, I was aware of all this, as I had to counter the claims of a Daily Mail reader about how the Court could "dictate" to us, and so presented that very information to him, some time last year IIRC.
To suggest we disassociate from the protection offered by the ECHR is just blinkered xenophobia.
