  It's like my husband. A ggod guy, a good elder. Can see lots of things wrong but put in front of him all those doubts, all those wrong things, all those false prophecies... BUT.. it's STILL 'Jehovah's Organisation'........... when will the blinkers come off!!

  Lostinthought, I did the same as you...

  I'm wondering what's going to happen to my hubby. My FS hours are very very low, I have come off the school and we have a new CO coming next month. I can't see them asking him to come off as an elder, he came off once before and they were desperate to have him back (he's the sort everyone wants to go to). The CO might ask him why I'm not doing so well with my hours. Think he might tell him it's my mental health. LOL

  Disfellowshipped Facebook friends?

  i just recently friended someone i knew many years ago.

  they have been disfellowshipped for a number of years.

  i am currently not da'd or df'd so if the elders wanted could they disfellowship me for having a fb df'd friend?.

  I'm still active and have a few DF'ed FB friends. I just hide my list and anyway if anyone doesn't like it they can just lump it.. LOL

  Thanks for all your comments guys and your personal experiences. It's amazing how we all start off in the same place and follow our path in all different directions.

  At the end of the day, it's what gives us the most happiness that's important. Everyone is different and we all find our own way in that journey of life.

  i've found this topic and subject to be extremely powerful.

  this is for those who still believe in god, realize the wt is apostate, and trying to help family.

  (meaning i do not wish it to be used on trying to turn people athiest, i respect everyone's choices, i just believe and would hate my help to do what i feel is wrong) it might help fix things, or if you are still wondering how to awaken them without scaring them and being instantly shunned.

  It's so incredible that the only thing they ever really seem to want to know is what is your loyalty towards the organisation, the FDS, the GB... it's almost as if nothing else matters. You could say how much your loyalty still is with Jehovah, how much it still is with Jesus. You still pray, you still study the bible. You love Jehovah, you love Christ. BUT... it's not or never is ENOUGH!!

  Apostasy isn't about disowning Christ, it's about disowning a man-made organisation....
