Sicilian is a little different but still sounds very Italian. Italian doesn't have those accents in it. It has è, à and ò, and that's it. In Portuguese I think linguiça is sausage? Sausage in Italian is salsiccia. Perry, I read some of your early posts (I check everyone out LOL) and you are half Italian? And you've not learned it?

i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.
maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

have you ever seen people who just constantly read.
they read at every given opportunity, at the gym, on the bus and train, at the beach, all weekend, even while holidaying overseas they mostly just read.
you even see them going down the street holding a book while walking, like some kind of zombie.

I've been a bookworm since the time I discovered at the age of 4 or 5 that books held a whole world of imagination. From that age onward I read all sorts. But it is true that one needs to balance it with the 'real' world. Trouble is, when you are addicted to reading you don't want to leave it! Is there some place book addicts can go to be restored to a normal human being?

I'm so sorry Truman, I can't begin to imagine what you are suffering right now. My heart goes out to you. No parent should ever have to suffer the loss of their precious child in this way. You'll be in my prayers.
