i would like to list 10 facts i have learned since coming on this site ,facts i wasn`t aware of while in the movement and facts that have set me free from a religous movement that really is not interested in facts per se.. these are not listed in order of importance , and feel free to add your own list that applys to your circumstances.

1.the wtb&ts involvement with the u.n.. 2.the wtb&ts investments/shares some of which are questionable.. 3.their real estate properties around the world, millions if not billions, of $$$, while being a not for profit organization.

4.their pretense of obeying the law on" blood" while conveniently adjusting it to minimise their legal obligations in threat of a lawsuit.

i got this "privilege" thrust upon me for about 6 months many years ago.

i was a hubby, father of young children, service committee member, working 2 jobs and then this.

it truly is a thankless task.

Questions critical of 1914

i have a relative coming over because he's concerned about my spiritual health.

i said i have some legitimate concerns about the watchtower claiming to be god's representative on earth.

we agreed to do a frank and open (if that's even possible) study of 1914 doctrine, and the "nu lite" about the overlapping generations.. does anyone have good questions or points to shoot-down the 1914 doctrine, and the "nu lite" on overlapping generations?

Cover of the 1984 Awake (think it's a May 15 one). Got pics of 70 &80 year olds and title said they wouldn't die before the end.. that was nearly 30 years ago.....

The Watchtower Society actually WANTS witnesses to take blood.

hear me out.. acts 15v29 "blah blah blah... abstain from blood".

for years the millions of jehovah's witnesses worldwide have been fed stories of "brave witnesses" who "fought to stay true to their convictions" by refusing blood transfusion.

We're allowed blood fractions but not the 4 major components, yet plasma is 92% water, red blood cells are simply haemoglobin with a membrane, white blood cells are found in mother's milk and clotting agents are taken from platelets. Does this mean shortly the 4 major components will soon be allowed? Then if those 4 components are allowed won't it make sense to allow whole blood. I find the whole stance on blood totally mystifying!!

This was my 'Sign'

in my previous post i mentioned that i'm staying in the org because i think i got a sign from god...some of you asked a lot of questions about my sign and even shared the society's view on asking for signs which i didn't know.. i didn't disclose exactly what the sign was.. some of you asked me what it was and even stated that i know that you all would pick apart and prove that my sign was just a frivolous excuse to hold on to the org.. maybe you were right.. so i've decided to tell you all exactly what it was---no embellishments or exaggerations.

i would love to hear your opinions since i'm still in a terrible mess.sometimes i'm 100% this is not the truth then other times i'm 60%....i feel if god was giving me a sign i'd be 100% this is the truth you know?.

so i woke up that morning and organized to go meeting.

Dear sister, I can feel your pain and confusion. Sometimes I feel the same troubled feelings. I can't tell you what to do or how to feel, each one of us is different and responds in a different way. All I know is that having learned all that I have there is no going back. At least mentally. You are a pioneer, I'm an elder's wife. We have people we love, family, friends that we fear hurting, fear losing. At the same time we know things are very very wrong. What do we do? Do we stay and feel sick, troubled and hurt or do we leave and lose everyone we love? Does God want us to stay or does he want us to leave?

There is no easy answer. At this moment I feel I have to stay and put up with everything and try and do things my way. Not to get sucked in to all the things that are wrong. Try and speak when I can of all the things that are wrong. Show others the things that I believe are true from God's word. One day things might change and I will know when that time comes. For now I do what I can do. I pray to God and keep close to him, I've developed a relationship with Jesus that wasn't possible before, that makes me happy. I read my bible and none of the WT publications except a brief look to keep up to date with what's going on.

One day we might be free but for now stick with it until you have to go. As for your young cousin, teach him God's word, teach him about Jesus, the things you believe but try and keep him from baptism if you can. Most of all don't promote the organisation... it isn't from God!

Hello Andersoninfo - who writes the current WT ,mags?

i mean you probably have the connections but can't post these names because of a betrayal of trust even though you might be regarded as super apostate in the bethell circle of friends.

i was a witness for the first 25 years of my life and i always thought that the wt mags were written by the fds.

i know it's hard to challenge your beliefs you have held onto so long, what else is out there in this world, that makes sense?

once upon a time, we had a edge over the world, we had "game" but this is fading.

think about the talks you heard at the "one day, two-day or summer conventions", were you upbuilt and told how valuable you are?

she wants you to know that she is coping well with all the stress and excitement, even though she's had years of anger and frustration because of being abused for so long, first by the molester, and then by the wt.

You fought and won with great courage. Your perseverance and refusal to give up will no doubt help many more victims of abuse decide not to give up their fight and settle out of court. The damage done to abuse victims is two fold, first by the perpetrators of this crime then by the WTS in their attempts to cover up the abuse 'lest it bring reproach on Jehovah's name'. I wish you all the very best in your future Candace and hope that all the dreams you have now come true for you.
