Why wasn't the Issue of Universal Sovereignty raised amongst the angels long before Adam and Eve

if there were millions of angels in existence long before adam and eve were created, how come god's sovereignty wasn't challenged in heaven long before the garden of eden?

why did this so-called issue only begin when adam and eve appeared?

how could there not be a single rebellious angel before the appearance of humans?

i've been reading around this subject of late and it seems to make a lot of sense.

Anyone wanting to put their head in the sand and not believe that there is a conspiracy for 'New World Order', only has to google it and see what comes up. Things said by people in the know and not just people who want to stir up controversy. HG Wells wrote a book about it. It's not far from the truth.

I think one's gut instincts tell you when something isn't right. Just as we 'knew' something wasn't right with the WT even when we had no proof. Even when we believed it was all true. Something sits uncomfortably. Who knows what is right and what is make believe. But I still trust my own instincts.

i've been many times as a child and young adult, but haven't been for 17 years or so.

it was the hungarian's first time.

What do you replace it with?

so... i am coming to the conclusion that pretty much all of the doctrinal stuff that i have believed for 25/30 years is built on a house of cards and it's about to come crashing down.

question is what do i replace it with?.

my intellectual head says that that whole thing is junk and there is almost certainly no god at all.

I couldn't tell you what to replace it with as everyone is an individual and responds to it differently. Some find freedom in believing there is no God at all while others cast off the organisational doctrines and find Christ. Some carry on not knowing what to believe and find their way gradually on a voyage of discovery.

All I can say is whatver path you find yourself on, to enjoy the moment and what life has for you here and now. The biggest thing is to shake off all the shackles of preconceived ideas and start from scratch and you'll find what makes you happy eventually.

Personally I'm on the road to discovering a relationship with Christ and for me it feels wonderful. It is truly nothing like the heavy load the WTS piles on us!

You may discover a completely different road and wish you all the best on it as you discover new things!

mp.. I've watched loads of youtube videos about CT Russell, masonry and the WT. Very interesting stuff. Shocked me when I first learned about it but everything fits. Bit too far for me to travel to see the grave for myself though (like 1,000s of miles! LOL).

Even if there's no truth to the illuminati side of things there certainly is plenty of evidence to show a link with Freemasons.

i really think it is a misconception to say leaving the jw's will destroy you and/or your family.. .

many people here stay as jw's despite posting very opposing views and beliefs.

i understand the difficulty of family reprisal.

I'm not prepared to break a 30+ year marriage, I'm not prepared to break my elderly mother's heart. I'm not prepared to lose my children and grandchild. Yes, it's hard to sit there and listen to, to go out occasionally and knock on empty doors (which is all I do these days) but I can bear it. What I couldn't bear is losing my beloved family. It would kill me. If you can't 'condone it' then that's your problem, not mine. It's my life and I live it as I choose just as everyone has the free will to do.

I've just been reading Springmeier's book 'Be Wise as Serpents' and there's some eye opening stuff in there. Personally I think a lot of it is a bit sensationalist but I'm sure there is some truth in it. I'm sure Russell was a Mason. Even as a child I always felt very uncomfortable with all the masonic imagery associated with the old books/watchtowers. Something felt very 'wrong' about it and I still feel that way about the WT logo. The word 'society' makes me cringe.

I don't believe Rutherford was a mason and I think he 'spoiled' their plans and was a bit of a loose canon, although I'm sure he was influenced in some way by outside forces. As for the WT scheme of things, I get the nasty feeling that the GB, the guys in Brooklyn, are merely puppets of those outside forces. Something is controlling the WTS and the WTS is controlling the R&F. Having said that, at only 7 million adherents the WTS is very small fry, it makes you wonder why anyone in a position of power would bother with it? It is anti government and anti religion, yes, but it doesn't really have the power to change nations.
