  i have, for some time, related to my family the underlying reason why the governors at headquarters (pg22p10) say what they say & do what they do.

  simply put, they need to make themselves big.

  Do you detect an underlying sadness ?

  whenever i talk to jw's, and even in some of the jw official videos, i detect a definite vibe of sadness coming off these people.. i am very sensitive to "atmospheres" and to peoples emotional state, you wouldn't think so, because more often than not i do not react to what i detect, i just let people get on with it.. but i do get this feeling that they are sad, probably because very, very, very deep down they realise that it is all false, maybe ?.

  Phizzy, my being still in, I am around them all the time and I definitley know what you're talking about. I get the same vibes from them too. It also comes across as an extreme tiredness- a tired of being alive type of tiredness- so sad.

  every lifeform on earth, humans, plants, bacteria, cells, anything with life originated with other life.

  all trees come from living seeds from other trees, etc.

  DJS:- There are plenty of biblical purely theological discussions on this board; you don't have to enter where you don't truly have the skill sets to enter.

  So why is it when the christians on this board try to start a thread about their beliefs, atheists come along and try to derail it and mock and ridicule? Aren't they being trolls too?

  EOM. I've pondered those questions myself too.

  as a baby boomer making the best of every day, i have a casual list of things i want to do before i, well .

  we all know about the promises made, and, gee whiz, i want to be a good and faithful boy.

  but i'm beginning to wonder if i should buy a few more baskets to put my eggs in.

  the last time i went to the kh was memorial 2013 and the elder giving the talk.

  spooke of "two hopes" for christians...i sat there and wondered how did i. ever believe such a thing!..its not even in the bible!!!

  !that did it for me!.

  The fist time I saw the expression TTATT was in November 2011 on JWstruggle (RayPublisher's website) in one of his blogs on there. It was the first place I went on my 'awakening' and I came across it. Thought it was really good.

  if the wbts is just another business?

  then what do the gb get out of all this?.

  tim cook (ceo apple) makes around 378 million a year.. donald trump makes around 60 million a year.. i understand the wbts may have vast property holdings, stocks, bonds, and revenue from donations.. but i can't grasp the incentive for the gb to make this stuff up.

  every now and then i check statistics for my 607-related articles.

  recently, someone has searched for "vat 4956 watchtower", so i went to google to see where my site comes up in the page ranking.. the first entry in the search results is a reference to the watchtower online library, with a reference to their 2011 attempt at defending their doctrine.. and immediately below it is a link to my rebuttal of the same article.

  some other actual google searches people have made to get to my site where my pages are in the first page of google's results:.

  Well, I use startpage search engine which is a proxy search engine and not personalised at all. I put in Jehovah's witness 607 and carm.org came up first, followed by wikipedia, then jwfacts, fourth was 607v587.com, fifth jehovahsjudgement.co.uk, sixth is a youtube video on JWMediaFilms channel, seventh is defendingjehovahswitness.blogspot.com and then you come in eighth Jeffro.
