i watched a couple daniel clark videos on youtube (simple but interesting btw) and he mentioned the revelation book is no longer in print.. is that true??
what other books did we grow up with that are out of print?.

there was just a folder with the "kingdom ministry" to cut and glue in to the book to cover up all paragraphs with "finished in this century".
yes that was pretty funny. Almost as if they expected the book to die soon so not to waste money on a new inventory of grabage can food
half of that 75% get disability and ssi checks.
it was kinda funny sitting there listening to them go down the line, name by name, of the ones auxilliary pioneering since the numbers are dropped to 30 hours for march & april.
as they were doing the names i was saying to myself, "she don't work", "she supposedly can't work", "he hasn't worked in years", "she gets a check", "she's probably gonna lie about the amount of hours she did" etc.. gotta love it.. i don't know if this happens in your congregation or not, but have you ever heard someone remark about someone else behind their back, "she can show up at every gathering, but she can't show up for field service!
i am inactive but if you are still in and active you should put in a report for 30 hours (maybe 31 to look more beleivable) eventhough you didn't actually put in a "pioneer" application.
the elders will probably ask to count you as a pioneer to get the cong. numbers up. Of course refuse the request because 30 hours isn't "real" pioneering. :)
well it was a very long discussion.
the elder knew nothing about the scandal, but he stated that he had no issue with it since when the case was brought to light, the society acted immediately to right their course.
in fact he thought it was a sign that that the organisation was indeed the "truth".

those seem to be the biggies. lots of other lame ones like Peace & Security, Prince of Peace book (i think this one talked about Jah possibly opening up other planets for perfect humans to live on)
any one know for sure about the Rev book?

I kind of got a sense that the Ted Turner quote a couple weeks ago was almost a teeny-tiny UN (NGO) article considering what a spokesperson he is for the UN

so about a week ago, i showed my cousin & her husband [an elder in our congregation] the picture on pg 29 of our 4/15/2013 study wt and asked, "if jesus is head of the congregation then where is he?".
after several minutes of searching, dead silence.. i then asked if they had heard the part on the 2012 summer district conv the part about "our spiritual mother, where the c.o said that "the bible by itself does not shine thru as life-giving truths just by itself.
" they were shocked and said that i must have misheard it because that would be apostasy.
Me: Do you remember what you said that it would be apostasy?
