i always find these remember things funny, 70's or 80's.... but as i was reading this list, it got me thinking about some of the things i don't truly remember (okay, i remember but they were no-no's) because of my jw enforced childhood.

ang, yup, i had and made friendship bracelets.
rolled tight at the ankle jeans, oh my, what were we thinking?????? thank god boot cut and bells (hell, even straight leg) styles are popular again! and easy to find in the shops :)

hey mulan, i think you should still send this to your friend. beaten down and battered women need to hear that they can say no and do things like set boundaries. i think she will benefit from all the comments so far in this thread.

confl, i loved those movies too (secretly i wish to someday own my own collection of john hughes movies and a collection of john cusack movies hehe)
goonies is my favorite kids adventure movie i loved the chubby kid!
dang, i go on vacation tomorrow and i just can't concentrate on work. but this reminiscing is helping me pass the time!

lisa, i read your story about leg warmers, so funny how so many rules were congregational or regional.
and yes i loved fraggle rock too! and as i got older and felt like i shouldn't be watching such a kids' show, i was lucky enough to babysit some girls that loved fragle rock, so i still got to watch! haha

parachute pants! soooo coool. i've noticed a similar type of pant come into style, those cargo style pants with the zip off legs.
