Hi Red,
Ultimately it is your decision if you want to invest time in a relationship with this jw boy. I will tell you that when i was in junior highschool i cherished my friendships with my "worldly" classmates. my worldly friends taught me how to trust and how to be real friends. i could be myself with them. i think that your friendship with this boy will help him in that sense. now as far as the boyfriend/girlfriend thing, well, you are both young so i'm not sure how involved you could really be (even if he wasn't a jw) but the advice about not losing yourself in him is good advice. remember to keep your sense of self! and this advice is true for any relationship you get involved in ever

My father just beat my brother-
by ashitaka inone more topic.. my wife just called up to tell me that she was over my parents before a doctor's visit, chatting with my mother, when my crazed jw father threw my small 14 year old brother down the stairs and punched him for not wanting to study.. i've been beat, thrown down stairs, had potted plants thrown at me, chased around the house, and such, for not wanting to do the family study.. this is what the "truth" does to people, all you loyal jw's....take note...... (i'm so angry i'm shaking).

Parentsplace.com debate board discusses JW's...
by closer2fine ini post on another board on parentsplace.com they have all kinds of boards revolving around children.
they have a bunch of "raising your child...(catholic, jewish, etc.
)" they used to have a raising your child jw" but they had to shut it down it got so nasty.. well, there is a debate board and jehovah's witnesses are being discussed now.
