at parties i ran from the hottub down the yard to the lake many times, always with 5-6 friends. my fellow party goers are use to this though so it's not really a big deal :)

just to add a bit more. one thing that always bugged me about jws the thought some witnesses have that just because you are a jehovah's witness you are automatically a better person than a worldly person. it never made sense to me, not when i was 7 or 17.

How many found the REAL truth from the internet?
by Leander inif it was'nt for the internet i would still be stuck in the endless cycle of drone like meeting attendance and field service.
(technically i'm still in but not for long) i'm really glad that some ex-jws took the time to speak about the real truth.
for the longest time i always thought that what i was taught was correct, i never even felt the need to question it or validate it with actual facts.

Any fitness gurus out there
by Leander inwell since i've made up my mind to take control of my life by leaving the borg i also want to get myself back in shape.
a few years ago i wass 6'1, about 205 (all muscle) with less than 10% bodyfat.
today lets just say that i need to get back into a serious workout regimine.. .

the info i learned on the net about the wts confirmed what my gut had been telling me for years. i had been da'd for 6 yrs before i got on the net but it was liberating to know that at 17 my rash decision to da had actually been the right thing to do! and once i got on the net my irrational thoughts of dying at armaggedon floated away. for about 3 months i just read read read everything i could get my hands on about the jws. liberating indeed! freedom rocks :)
