  Fantasy "Forbidden Fruit" Ex-Witness Party

  if you could get all willing participants on this board together in one area for a party, and told them to bring favorite music, food, movies, and dressed in certain fashion, all of which has been discouraged or outright banned either by the wts or by their flunkies (do, co, elders, busybodies in the hall, etc.

  while in the prime of your life, the wts will encourage you to " put the kingdom first " .. for the wts that mean nothin else after.

  the young are encouraged to not further thier education or get a fulltime job.

  but make the ministry their fulltime occupation.

  my Dad was told he would never finish college...... he is 72

  I was told I would never finish college.. and never regret to time I spent in my youth in Jehovah's service... regret every minute!

  my daughter was never told this .. I spared her, she is about too graduate college...

  So my Dad was told he would never graduate college.... His first grandaughter is about to, his second HAS

  Bipolar Landlady kicks me out!

  fun times.. a year and a month have passed since i moved in to the house where my cousin deb and her husband bobby live.. i had a small but comfortable room, tv, etc.. a nice cozy family situation, you might say....right?.

  i pay $600 a month to defray expenses.. hunky dory.. sure.

  until the first few eruptions!.

  So...why is taking blood essentially viewed as unforgivable by the WT?

  been hearing about this 'grey's anatomy' episode, and while i didn't see it, it brought up a question i wanted to throw out there, albeit a long-winded one, as is my usual nature.. the fact that people would rather die than take blood, as if...if they take it, they're doomed for sure to not make the new system--it doesn't make sense to me.

  people both in the organization and the bible stories are forgiven for heinous crimes, murder, adultery, child sacrifice, everything up to and including denying jesus altogether.

  (let's not forget child molestation and rape, apparently...) so why does it seem like this one act is presented to jws as one that's never to be forgiven?.

  have you seen the Silver Linings Playbook .. it is supposedly very insightful on bipolar.. I haven't but, it is on my must see list, as I have know two people who suffer from this disorder... It's very unsettling to say the least when you encounter it first hand .
