  one of the most persistent myths on this website is that jws are already in decline, the rot has set in, and the descent of the watchtower is inevitable from here on in.

  unfortunately the facts do not bear this out.

  jws are still increasing even in most developing countries, and they are still growing worldwide at a faster rate than the general population.

  the big problem is a doomsday cult needs an end date.. they have spent them all .. so how do they create the urgency..

  they people who run the propaganda printing company are in a catch 22 in this regard.. they can't just keep saying soon .. the last special GB talk I went to in 1984 .. It's highlight was, after a laundry list of how bad the world is, " the govening body sees no way this system will last past the turn of century!'

  end date .... everyone in audience ooh ahh.. urgency inserted ..

  Now they say I don't care if it doesn't come in my life time.. I just want to worship 8 men who run a printing company .. till I die!! hardy a reason to go out in service..

  so while making a you tube video of my dad today, i came across this in a dvd of home movies from way back, i didn't even know about it... originally shot on super 8 film, shot off screen with camcorder in 1992, with open mic, transfered to dvd in 2010 .. made to you tube in 2013.... check out the food service, without paper plates no less .. it's only a couple minutes on convention then, a little seatle conventions were a family vacation when we were growing up ... .

  I'm not sure .. mid to late sixties... the super 8 stuff was all spliced together on reels, in no particular order . plus no sound on original..

  So, Whats the real reason JWs are no concessions open at the DC and are discouraged from supporting nearby vendors?

  so ever since they discontinues the food service at the assemblies and dcs, jws have been "lovingly encouraged" to pack a light lunch to eat.

  the secretary at the hall that i am held hostage in said during the service meeting that even a sub would be too heavy to eat, and that a light salad was the best option.

  what do you fine people think is the real reason why, in the absence of food service, jws are told to not leave the building at lunch?

  Question for the married guys

  being "friends" usually doesn't require physical attraction but....... spending alot of time with someone is usually a sign there is a connection that will develope into an attraction .. more often than not..

  before you read this, please note ignorant is not a slur, it is a descriptive term, its not meant to offend x. to the ignorant, a shining white tower in disney land is magical, to the cleaner inside the fibreglass mockery, its a dirty, empty shell of an illusion.. "wow life, humans, the eye, dna, isn't it all amazing !
