Facebook mandatory timeline- good or bad?

i never set up timeline, as i felt it was too intrusive.
facebook is now telling us they will set up your timeline whether you like it or not- everyone is getting it..

@ ROBERT .. wow .. it is settled ... you win! excellent! .... So when I was being converted, as I've mentioned, ... the brother keeped drilling it, so I was prepared with .. "cults have one leader" even though everything about us is CULT.. ya 99%
The book study change was BS since they always have said how IMPORTANT it is to meet in homes, to prepare for the tribulation, etc.
my sister (who's in) she said, "they did it because it was a burden"... and looked sad and away.. I thought it's finally wearing on her,
I said "I heard it was because the Goverment is looking at home meetings as a " tear or Bliss" event ..lol..
She lit up and said "Ya!" " See Tate, 'They' are ahead at every step!!" ... Yet, she really didn't seem to know the reason.. now i must know..

Stronger than Hypnosis
by Londo111 inbeing the society is anti-hypnosis, i know very little about it.
but from what i've observed it often involves willing participants focusing their concentration, usually involving repetition, until the subject is in a state where suggestions can be implanted in their mind.
bite can involve hypnosis, but in many instances it may not.

Agreed!.....Thats how it felt too me and I stayed out for 20+ years ... but when I'd see them or deal with them, I would spin mentally, it was embarassing sometimes...

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Befreinding the freindless and then dumping them
by highdose inunashamedly borrowed from a post from morbizbaby on another thread because i thought it was a point that deserved greater disscuion.. in the 20+ years i was in my home cong the only people who got converted from a knock on the door to a dunk in the baptisum pool were the "freindless" those people who were loners, odd bods, misfits in the comunity.
the ones who were on some kind of social service register.
who aged 50 still lived with their parents, never went out and had only imaginary freinds.. don't get me wrong these are people who often do get missed off the radar by the community and who could do with help and freinds.... and they would get freinds from the jw's.

yep... I'm so glad I saw through the BS... All these years out .. always wondered how they could stay in buisness, being such frauds.. Then again there are a lot of meek still inheriting the earth... with the right heart condition...
