  JW Interracial Couples

  i was thinking about some interracial jw couples that chose each other because they do not have alot of choices like finding someone in their own race in the religion, i have been seeing alot more jw interracial couples lately.

  have you noticed them in your area?

  I have seen a few over the years. A good jw friend is white and married to a very mean black lady about ten years older than him. She was kind of a bitch to him AND to me. Another couple was a hispanic man and black wife. They were great people when I knew them. Yet another couple was a fifty something white lady married to a black man of about 35 years of age. They seemed weird to me and were both kind of aloof.

  We hosted a couple of them then quit offering. Pretentious and demanding CO' AND their wives.

  When You Were Sitting During The Meetings What Were You Really Thinkng About?

  i used to listen to all the stupid comments and wonder if i could sneak out of there and scram!

  even after i resigned as an elder, i went for a while and eventually began missing more and more meetings.

  but while i was there, i'd listen to comments, chuckle to myself how dumb it all was and then go home with the knowledge that my days were numbered there..

  Sometimes I tried to follow along. MOST of the time I was thinking about my worldly girlfriend. Then later on I would think about MRS. TOTH before she became my wife.

  has jehovah become the sole possesion of the organization?

  have they just taken a god for their name?

  it's interesting because they tell you who he goes through for chanel of communication, they tell you what organization he blesses, who's people are his friends, marraiges he unites, people he protects.

  I live across the street from my wife's stupid uncle, Count Drunkula. Hypocritical, wife beating, alky bum...I plan on putting up a flashing SNOWFLAKE light decoration in my front window. I can't wait for the idiot to whine to my father in law and the elders. I can hear it now! CHRISTMAS decorations! LOL Since when is a snowflake PAGAN?

  How did you fare in High School as a JW?

  for me it was rather painful.

  it was like pressing your nose against the candy store window, knowing that you can look, but you cannot partake.

  I grew out my hair and acted like an asshole. I tried HARD to not be seen as a jw kid. some kids that knew me from earlier school years knew I was but figured I was no longer one by my behavior. But in all fairness, it was the late 70's and my folks had more or less quit attending meetings. So it wasn't like I was dodging elders every day.

  How would you feel about this and would you steps to change the situation

  next week i am having surgery at the local hospital .

  one of my old jw 'friends ', that no longer considers me worthy of even a hello ,is a surgical tech there .. would you take steps to ask she not be on the operating team ?

  it was brought to my attention today that i do have the right to ask for that person not to be present because of personal issues .. what would you do ?
