  UK law changed to allow prosecution of those who stay silent over child abuse

  the domestic violence, crime and victims (amendment) act 2012 comes into force on monday in england and wales to allow prosecution for those who stay silent over a child's serious physical abuse.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18638734.

  whilst this law was put in place to stop a loophole whereby those who commit child murder claim it was someone else while they just remained silent, this now makes those who do not take steps to stop the abuse equally guilty.. elders who do not take steps to stop or report the serious abuse of minors could face prosecution and 10 years in prison.

  it may no longer be good enough to tell the abused or abusers it's their right to go to authorities (per the 2010 elders manual) they now need to take action.. whether criminal prosecutions are brought against elders who masquerade as police, judge, jury and social workers whilst not themselves reporting abuse of a minor will remain to be seen, however the law now exists to make it possible.. any jw child who comes to serious harm where the elders knew about it should ask themselves - could i have stopped this by telling the police?

  This seems to be reform right before our very eyes... Really their are so many changes; Sparlock, condensing the wt, generation overlap, underground policy change, atm machines at the conventions. To be honest the org is morphing into something totally different than the 80's model that I was fed.

  does anybody know the jw reasoning why using mind-altering depression and schizophrenia medication are okay but marijuana is not?

  okay i could see saying not to use marijuana because it is currently illegal in the us but what if it were legal?

  there are lots of health benefits for marijuana.

  i would like to list 10 facts i have learned since coming on this site ,facts i wasn`t aware of while in the movement and facts that have set me free from a religous movement that really is not interested in facts per se.. these are not listed in order of importance , and feel free to add your own list that applys to your circumstances.

  1.the wtb&ts involvement with the u.n.. 2.the wtb&ts investments/shares some of which are questionable.. 3.their real estate properties around the world, millions if not billions, of $$$, while being a not for profit organization.

  4.their pretense of obeying the law on" blood" while conveniently adjusting it to minimise their legal obligations in threat of a lawsuit.

  The thing that stood out to me, amongst the many is the whole mental pysche of the members. Such as depression, pill popping and suicide rates seems to be higher amongst the ones with the truth... How that? I know of so many stories of witnesses doing overtop bizzare things that does happen in a world of 7 billion, however not as often in a organization with ten tenths of a percent of the worlds population (if my math serves me correctly?) and the rate that this business spews death, destruction, fear, discontent must I go on? I have to stop before I go on one of my Post Traumatic Jehovah Witness Truth Tantrum!

  Another thing is the whole Russell Roots and how they basically have been unsurped from their foundation as if how you start has no part, please... I have to keep telling myself to shut up for I go on a rant like no other, "shut up self". Ok

  if i were convincing you to invest your life savings in a guranteed investment based on "insider" information that made the payoff a sure thing.

  and you acted to seize the opportunity---nobody would blame you for taking the plunge.. if i assured you....reassured you....repeatedly that the payoff and reward was "any day now" you might well hang in there for a long time.. .

  but, at a certain point, your patience and trust would wear thin and a serious request for proof of legitimacy would hang heavy in the air.. .

  The WTS is tightening it's grip and the conventions and subsequent event to follow will be to maintain numbers/minds through a subtle change of tone and content via the jw looking for their most implemented stimulating tactic, fear. guilt and shame too, however fear will be the prefered method!

  Yeah, proaction yes, yes, yes, progress, production, yes, yes, yes, I am so happy with the real foot soldiers with a since of urgent positive hope on this forum yes yes yes yeaaaaa.....Let's get em' every possible way whatever within law and reason and love.

  Whatever it takes theirs no time for second guessing just as the organization is charging their dying troops we have to refuel our ammunition and strategic cupboards their is a time for everything and nows the time to organize and attack with our truths against their lies!

  jwn needs to form a committee to collect, organize and disseminate information to candace conti's lawyers.. .

  several valid points have been made on this forum about the dishonest reasonings and tactics used by wt lawyers during and after this conti trial.

  exposing the wt and using its own printed track record against it is what the good folks at jwn do best.. .
