  with all the hurt and pain from so many witness's being insulted by the socitys strange veiws on so many issues that it claims is from gods own heart, it leads me at times to ask: "jehovah just where are you and do you really see anything at all going on with in an oranization that claims to be your own".

  the heavy-handed tactics of the leaders of the watchtower society have begun to bear rotten fruit.

  i suspect that it is just a matter of time before the need arises to coin some phrase to describe disfellowshipped or disassociated jehovah's witnesses who bomb conventions, shoot up kingdom halls or even attack bethel facilities.. leaders of the wts (and local elders) should stop and think about the lessons to be learned from columbine high school, the postal service (i.e.

  Mixed thoughts re: Silentlambs group

  a person has to be a bit nieve to think that if the wt suddenly gave into all of the demands of silentlambs that silentlambs would somehow cease to exist and or let up their pressure on the society.. i think there is a broader agenda here, one that includes a measure of revenge against the wt and one that won't stop until they are out of business.

  no child is truely protected or safe when they are raised in a cult.

  a logical extention of silentlambs would be expanding their agenda to include the blood issue and children.. it is this obvious broader agenda the silentlambs group has that invites criticism from active witnesses.

  If it were not for the Internet and this web site and others like it Jehovahs Witness's as well as many other religious people and denominations would not have much information and feed back to create a system to promote checks and balances.

  hardly anyone has an honest opinion about anything of importance that wasnt craftily pre-packaged and handed to them by someone else whose job it is to craft public opinion.

  the intention of the media is to present the illusion of impartially informing, all the while pandering to prejudice and ignorance in order to persuade to a particular point of view.

  datelines presentation of the watchtowers child abuse issue was a case study in the black art of media propaganda.. from the very beginning of the presentation dateline was intent on giving the public a negative impression of jehovahs witnesses by portraying us all as oddball crackpots whose religion revolves around the doctrine that we dont celebrate birthdays and that all non-believers are possessed by the devil and that we want them all to die.

  Oh get a life! it depends on the State your resideing in, or a taped coversation if it involves admissions of criminal acts or evidence there of, or if you arein the conversation, there are many factors to consider here. If the Judicial systems can pervert justice what makes you think the Jehovah's Witness judicial body is above it?

  "how dare you you should be ashamed of your selves because you know better i was raised for 30 years in the truth and all though i am no longer an atcive witness i canted belive what i just saw on tv to speak out like you did with half truths and outright lies you were never truly jehovah witnesses and never had real love for him.

  Me too, raised and bred a Witness, my daughter was molested too just like the show indicates the elders told her to be quite and mind her own business, her step father abused her, so both her and her older sister went to the elders. The elders told them both never to speak of it again. This happened five years ago, my daughter is still going through therapy, and I am disgusted, they would not even tell me, and I was the natural father! Pepper

  well, i am bucking the general consensus here that everything went well on dateline.

  i thought it was fine as far as it went but looking at it through the local jw eyes it will not get what you all and i hoped for.

  the show didn't put proof on all the cases we all know about.

  I personaly have not seen it as I type this, I am in the moutain time zone. But I do not remember much of nay news of the Jehovah's Witness in my life time as a witness other than distric convention coverages which seems to give all the friends butterflys in the butts.
  So I look at this as a small snow ball as it begins to roll ever so slowly untill its moves a mountain. Pepper

  If it is so bad to point of makeing rules agaist haveing observers and Tape recordings or someone on the defendent side makeing notes as the elders are also doing, then why do they utilize such privalges in a real court of law.
  It seems to me they should stay to their own rules that they usurp on the lowly sinner the apply on them selfs too.
