If I was in charge of a cult and was being exposed as a fraud I'd probably tell them beforehand that they're about to hear lies about me and not to believe it.
id also tell them that we're so close to the end now... and maybe hold a convention called Don't Gibe Up!

i just picked my little girl up from her mum. She was having dinner in a restraunt with other JWs. I finished work early and walked right in and up to their table. They began to have pretend conversations or got their phones out to text (how rude!)
i asked my ex has it been announced about the letter campaign to Russia? She said no but she asked her dad (elder) and he told her it will be announced soon and how did she know?
I then asked the whole table "have you all written you letters to Mr Putin yet?" - No reply. Eyes down.
My ex said is isn't sure wether she will do it. Because it sounds like, in her own words, "a strange request".

Why is she looking for a partner? How selfish of her to be thinking of herself instead of Gods Organization.

since the angels that followed satan could take on human form and even have sex and bear offspring to females of earth why would satan not have used this avenue instead of talking through a snake .?

why wouldnt eve question how a snake could talk?
There was an old brother from my congregation who was previously in The Worldwide Church Of God. He said that they taught that Eve likely saw the snake eat the fruit first, then it started talking to her, which would have made her think eating from it gave the person powers.

following from the worldwide campaign to send letters to the russian government: topic covered here.. i started observing a scary trend, i got around 100 messages on multiple messaging apps, facebook and other social media posts encouraging all jws to send letter to the russian government protesting on the ban with the hope they will overturn it.. what struck me is that all are doing it and encouraging others to do it.
so, what if the gb via jw.org request something like street protests, civil disobedience, to the extreme of voting for or against a particular law or fighting (far-fetched).. what would the jw membership do, not the awakened one?
in addition, i feel this exercise exposes the awakened ones.

If my mum was told that black is white and the sky is green she'd be convinced that her eyes are defective and the GB are correct.
I've also witnessed quite a few times that she literally forgets old light and immediately replaces it with the new light and denies that the old light ever existed. She's that indoctrinated.
One quote from her that sums it up from a few days before i was announced as DFd "It doesn't matter what we think. All's that matters is what the Governing Body say. So we want to do what they tell us so we can get through armageddon".

You know what i think?... i think the image made of different metals, the feet of iron and clay, the ten toes, the mountain hurling a stone to destroy the image are all just the crazy dream of an old man in his twilight years after having a heavy meal and a late night of praying.
of the 50% of congregants who regularly participate, many of them give gushing answers about how appreciative they are, how wonderful jw.org is and so on, which makes me think nobody in my congregation is awake.
but maybe it's possible for someone who comes across as super spiritual to be awake?
i can't see how, though, as surely it's emotionally draining to fake it like that?
This happens in North Korea, as it happened in Jim Jones's cult in Guyana, and in Nazi Germany. Come across as a "true believer" so you'll be left alone. Hey, you might even start believing it if you do it often enough.
the only witnesses i knew that had money were those that either had family businesses or had money before they got into the religion.

I personally knew 2 who became millionaires while in "the truth". Both were elders. One owned a company that manufactures and sells sheds, the other was an investment banker who retired at the age of 45.
