  since we were jws at one time, has it influenced your view as to where your dead loved ones are now?

  i know many here do not believe in anything biblical but i’m curious as to whether you believe anyone is in heaven?

  I actually find much comfort in the knowledge that my dad, grandad and nana are dead and do not exist in any form whatsoever. Each of them suffered before they died and now the pain is over and im left with many, many happy memories.

  the latest june 2018 jw-broadcast shows a small clip at the end where a group of jehovah's witnesses are standing in a field waiting to be captured by armed forces.

  right behind them, a white horseman appears with a bow and arrow shooting at the armed men.

  As far as I know they teach that the rider of the white horse is Jesus.

  once I invited a bunch of young dubs over to my place. I was new in that congregation and had moved there. Most said yes. I bought a bunch of pizzas.............and had to throw most of it away because not.......one..........person........showed.

  Ouch. That sucks. I never threw parties for that very reason, i anticipated that no one would show.

  Can you imagine turning up to a JW party now though? Getting the green Insight books out and having "lots of fun" talking about the bible?

  It was always the single brothers in my previous hall that did things. As soon as i was married i was never invited to anything.

  NWT 1984 vs NWT 2013

  i recently had a discussion with a jw concerning a change in wording of a scripture - in fact this was my all time favourite scripture, namely, micah 6:8.. my view is that the wtbts have deliberately changed the wording and meaning of the said scripture.

  the other person is of the opinion that that is not the case.

  This is my all time favourite point to bring up when discussing the NWT change. I was going to make a YouTube video on it but it never happened.

  Basically, the term "loyalty" can kinda sorta be used, but the WT society have obscured the full meaning. It's referring to loyal love. The kind of loyal love one has to ones family, not blind loyalty to an organization.
