This is the form the elders fill in about you if you get disfellowshipped or disassociate... disassociated ones are treated exactly the same as disfellowshipped ones. Joining another religion, accepting a blood transfusion or joining the army are all they need you to do in order to declared you disassociated. It's check mate my friend.

after we heard some time ago that before the time of russel there was no "faitful slave" or no anointed ones who formed a faitful slave class, now we learn that we dont know if before russel there were not "faitful ones" or "anointed".

indeed jackson says that we know the bible teaches that throughout the history there would be a large number of "sons of the kingdom" ..or anointed ones.. beginning from this month in several projects including a film about christian bible translators who gave an example of "faithfulness" and "discretness" in translating the bible, the christian bibletranslators and missionionaries who used "jehovah" by the way are receiving ultimate praise of the governing body, in the first place at the moment is shown the video about tyndale, wo so is very much supposedly a "faithful one" and perhaps even "anointed" because he loved the bible.. jackson says that those early missionaries of the christendom already "preached the message" before russell.

look at this graph:.

it has the % difference between the peak number of publishers and the average number of publishers for that year.

this number can only be positive.. what the graph tells us is that there is a clear trend towards hunting down inactive and/or irregular publishers.

I remember the announcement that we could now count 30mins/15mins in the ministry. Then lo and behold, the next yearbook shown that the ministry hours had shot up. Straight away i saw through that crap and wondered why our loving GB would need to stoop to that level. Now when you think about it, it also makes the inactive ones able to put in 15mins or so just to keep on them on the books.

Im quite glad my ministry reports were all fiction. Surely there's many more that do that?

Now I'm Convinced There Probably Is No God

yesterday i made a visit to the museum in my city.

the top floor is the planetarium, which has a connecting room with a huge dome ceiling where they project lessons and lectures and you have a 360 view of the night sky etc.. this particular lecture explained about our galaxy, and how it's only one of billions in the universe.

and then we learned about each planet, some of their moons and the sun.

i'm not sure whether or not my view on this is correct so please leave your input.

in recent months i've been viewing youtube videos.

again, it might just be my view but there has been an increased amount of random people grabbing a camera and doing vlogs.

I agree. My videos dont feature me, just video recordings of talks, little informational videos and Rutherford recordings of him putting his foot in it.

JW's would just love us to get all angry and confrontational with them. It just reaffirms their delusion that they're special like the apostles when they were "persecuted".

Yes, a blank report slip was my canvas. Only done an hour and no placements? Put down 6 hours, 14 mags and 3 books.

My ex wife never filled her report slip, she jus keft it to me to make up something believable on Thursday.

regarding what happened post russell in 1917, if you ask a jw, they'll say it was the fault of the ousted board members who were 'self willed'.

if you ask an ex-jw, they'll say it was a 'power grab' by rutherford.

Crises of Conscience sheds clearer light on this. Can't remember the details but Rutherford used his legal knowledge to wrangle control of Russell's organisation despite Russell naming a successor (and it wasn't Rutherford). Even going so far as to ignore Russell's last will and testament, declaring it null and void.

It kinda reminds me of how Hitler took over the Nazi party despite Anton Drexler founding it.

And as for that Johnson selfishly self appointing himself, do. they mean kinda like the GB today? I don't remember voting for them, do you?

Marking Talks are back!?!?! - New Name!

when i was younger i used to hear about "marking talks" given in the past.

i believe they stopped in the 80's or 90's.

basically, if someone wasn't baptized or doing something unrepentant, they would get a "marking talk" and be treated the same as a df person.

Haven't heard a marking talk in years. Best one was about 6 years ago on "sexting". At the time the only teenager in the congregation was me... and i hadn't been doing any sexting. So i wonder which of the older ones where doing that?

Even though i was born and raised a JW and only left 7 months ago i nearly choked when i read that. It's so trivial and stupid. Just shows how far I've come from dismantling the indoctrination.
