  notice jesus asks the pharisees if it was lawful on the sabbath to save a life.

  so, can you break god's law to save your life if it came to that?

  The first blood transfusion took place in the first century. A woman with very low hemoglobin was desperate for a fraction. The Holy Spirit gave her a full transfusion.

  Luke 8:

  43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years,[c] but no one could heal her.

  44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

  45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.

  48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

  Jesus preached “I want MERCY and NOT sacrifice “

  If today, a JW woman had a dangerous perforated uterus and was low on hemoglobin and needed surgery and blood, what would Watchtower say?

  They would say that she can have the surgery but her hemoglobin is her own problem.

  Jesus didn’t do a half a cure, but Watchtower would.

  Anybody checked the price for a pound of nickel recently? It’s rising...

  So, awhile back I started a rumor among the dubs in our town that a certain kingkongdumb haul was going to be sold off and all the dubs from there would merge with the other half.

  I laughed hard when an apostate sister got in contact with us to tell us that her still burnt in fleshly sister told her the rumor during one of their family visits together... that they shouldn’t be having anyway.

  To Jesus, people were precious.... Not buildings.

  In fact he said the most important building of back then would be sacked.

  hi - first some context - i have been pimo for about 20 years now and so have been to a lot of assemblies in that time.

  last weekend i went to a circuit assembly and for the first time afterwards i was able to talk directly to someone who knows i'm out.

  i realised then that although i didn't agree with any teachings (i sat picking holes in the arguements as usual) the experience of being there had affected me - the way of life started feeling normal as did the overall way of viewing the world.

  When you go to JW.bORG the cookies on your system are available to some extent and demonstrate where you’ve been.
