Well, thousands of tree fossils all over the world penetrating many sedimentary layers that are supposed to have been laid down over millions of years certainly doesn't help the case of flood rejectionists.

Dutchman launches life-sized replica of Noah's Ark
by bats in the belfry inhuibers, a christian, used books 6-9 of genesis as his inspiration, following the instructions god gives noah down to the last cubit.
translating to modern measurements, huibers came up with a vessel that works out to a whopping 427 feet (130 meters) long, 95 feet (29 meters) across and 75 feet (23 meters) high.

Interestingly, we find the number 3 popping up all over creation .....repeatedly.
For example, God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.
We find the number 3 representing God as if it was His trademark. The curious thing about this trademark is that it shows up in various places, starting with his creation... It took God six days to create everything. He could have done it much sooner but He chose six (3 x 2) days.
He made the atom with 3 parts (electron, neutron, proton) and used it to create a world with 3 parts (land, sea, air), all within a universe with 3 parts (matter, time, space).
He created time with 3 divisions (past, present, future) and gave space its 3 dimensions (up/down, left/right/ forward/backward). He created matter with its normal, you guessed it, 3 states (solid, liquid, gas).
When He created life on earth, this trademark was not far behind. Animals were created to live in 3 areas (in land, in water, in air). He made their survival to depend on 3 essentials (food, water, air), the food providing energy in 3 forms (protein, carbohydrates, fat), the water made up of 3 parts (two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen) and the air primarily consisting of 3 parts (78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, .93% argon.).
His greatest creation, man, was made in 3 parts also (body, soul, spirit): "...I pray God your whole Spirit and Soul and Body be preserved..." 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now one would think God would get tired of using the number 3, but He also stamps his trademark throughout His Word the Bible... 66 (3 x 22) Books in the bible [39 (3 x 13) in the Old Testament- 27 (3 x 9) in the New Testament] 31,173 (3 x 10,391) Verses in the Bible [23,214 (3 x 7738) in the O.T.- 7959 (3 x 2653) in the N.T.]
Within the Bible itself we find many appearances of the number 3. There were 333 prophecies concerning the coming of Jesus Christ into the world. Jesus Christ was crucified at the age of 33, after a ministry that lasted 3 years. He spent nine (3 x 3) hours on the cross, with 3 of those hours in darkness.
He was buried for 3 days and 3 nights, and resurrected on the 3rd day. In fact, the word three is mentioned in the Bible 543 (3 x 181) times!
The universe and the Bible have their Creator's trademark stamped all over them. God wants us to recognize both as His handiwork. It's his logo.
Read:
Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead

The trinity doesn't violate idenity, it explains it..... much the same way the red barn and the green barn and the blue barn are just different aspects of the one barn on top.
Likewise we are spirit, soul and flesh ...in the image of God. How many times has your spirit intended to do one thing but the prospect of fleshly gratification prompted you to do another?
You are a prisoner to your naturalism paradigm. Think about it. Your flesh doesn't have two you's when you are "fighting with yourself" Our flesh, soul and spirit are in conflict with each other MANY times.... yet they are all YOU.
We are made in God's image.

(420'×58') Tessarakonteres ca. 200 BCE The Greektrireme Tessarakonteres reportedly carried a crew of 400, was powered by 4000 oarsmen and transported 2850 soldiers, according to Athenaeus and Plutarch (Life of Demetrios). Historical evidence for this ship is limited to ancient references. [ 51 ] [ 52 ] [ 53 ] (450'×75')
Noah's Ark unknown [ 54 ] Noah's Ark is described in accounts in Genesis and the Qur'an . Well, Noah's Ark isn't the only ancient 400'+ wooden ship in history. The chinese were making them in the 1400's and there is the Greek reference above from wikipedia, and many others.
Also:
In the book Noah’s Ark: A Feasibility Study 4 , creationist researcher John Woodmorappe suggests that, at most, 16,000 animals were all that were needed to preserve the created kinds that God brought into the Ark.
The Ark did not need to carry every kind of animal—nor did God command it. It carried only air-breathing, land-dwelling animals, creeping things, and winged animals such as birds. Aquatic life (fish, whales, etc.) and many amphibious creatures could have survived in sufficient numbers outside the Ark. This cuts down significantly the total number of animals that needed to be on board.
Another factor which greatly reduces the space requirements is the fact that the tremendous variety in species we see today did not exist in the days of Noah. Only the parent “kinds” of these species were required to be on board in order to repopulate the earth. 5 For example, only two dogs were needed to give rise to all the dog species that exist today.
Creationist estimates for the maximum number of animals that would have been necessary to come on board the Ark have ranged from a few thousand to 35,000, but they may be as few as two thousand if the biblical kind is approximately the same as the modern family classification.
A little over half of the Ark would have been needed for the animals.
As far as the salt vs. fresh water fish, here's an interesting commentary:
But what about the fish and other marine creatures? Obviously, they weren't taken on board the Ark. How could they survive, particularly both fresh and salt water forms? As a matter of fact, most of them didn't survive. Over 95 percent of all fossils are marine creatures. They died, and are fossilized, by the trillions. Many are buried in great fossil graveyards, tightly packed together, choked with sediments, buried before they had time to decay. Obviously, they didn't live in the environment in which they died. But how could any have survived?
In the complex of events and conditions that made up the Flood, certainly there were pockets of fresh and/or clean water at any one time. Remember, it was raining in torrents, and we can expect that the rain was fairly fresh water. Many studies have shown that waters of various temperatures, chemistries, and sediment loads do not tend to mix; they tend to remain segregated into zones. It would be unlikely for any one area to retain such zones for very long during the tumult of the Flood, but on a worldwide scale, some such segregated zones would have existed at any given time. Furthermore, we don't know the tolerance levels of pre-Flood fish for sediment, salt, and temperature. Modern fish have a great variety of responses to different environments. Perhaps before the Flood, fish were even more adaptable.

One brother who was raised in
the truth said that for as long as he
could remember, he had homosexual
desires.... By the time he was 20, he
had become a regular pioneer andwas
a ministerial servant in the congregation.
Then he made a serious mistake
and was disciplined .... This happened
a long time ago, but he says: “At
times I still have those feelings, but
I don’t let them overtake me. I have
learned that Jehovah will not let you
be tempted beyond what you can handle.
So I believe that God thinks I can
make it.” This brother does not want
anything to take him out of the race.
He knows that life in the new world is
worth whatever he has to endure now.
He says: “Until then, I will continue to
fight.”This kind of garbage is just exactly why I left. This man's experience IS NOT what is described in the bible. The WT's response to SIN is to (1) Try Harder (1) Run faster (2) Jump Higher.
The bible offers VICTORY another way:
neither: fornicators, nor, idolaters, nor, adulterers, nor, effeminate, nor, abusers of themselves with mankind, ,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus,I left the organization because I HATE BEING A LOSER. I really hate it. I like to win. I could not deal with sin the way the WT perscribed. Little did I know then that the WT method guarantees failure, while Jesus Christ guarantees success.

My bet is on the Architect of the universe.... that he could design a a wooden chest that can float in the sea.
New Scientist has a list of the top ten things that were once thought to be an impossibility.
1. Analysing Stars
2. Meteors Come From Outer Space
3. Heavier Than Air Flight
4. Space Flight
5. Harnessing Nuclear Energy
6. Warm Superconductors
7. Black Holes
8. Creating Force Fields
9. Invisibility
10. Teleportation
If Man can confirm and do all these things, what arrogance is it to assume that the Creator couldn't design a floating wooden box?

BEFORE God began creating.......he wasn't a CREATOR.
Wrong premise. Since God created time, there was no "before" the beginning. Time is merely an invention of God. It seems so permanent to us.... but not to Him.
BEFORE God began creating.....there was nothing......and nothing TO KNOW. (Nothing to know about, you see.)
Because your premise is wrong, you make this mistake in your logic. It does not follow.
BEFORE God began creating...there was nothing and nothing to know....nobody and nothing to LOVE.
Because your premise is wrong, you make this mistake in your logic. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are eternal and are complete in themselves.
BEFORE God began creating...He was alone. In the middle of nothing...with nothing to think about....nobody to love....yet He was somehow different than nothing?
Because your premise is wrong, you make this mistake in your logic. Just because you cannot imagine God's existence before the establishment of time doesn't mean these things didn't exist in other contexts.
God wasn't anyplace. God wasn't doing anything with anybody. Eternity of nothing leaves God with nothing to distinguish Him from nothing and no time to BE.
God could not be ALL-KNOWING (there was nothing to know).
God could not be ALL-POWERFUL (nothing over which to exert power).
God could not be just, moral, loving or powerful (no wrongs to right, no good or bad and no action or event occuring.)
God could not be WISE (no knowledge about things as yet non-created).
Just because you do not understand the nature of a transcendent God, that doesn't give you license to make nonsensical statements like the ones above that you cannot possible have any inkling about. In other words, ignorance isn't a virtue. I don't mean that as a personal attack. It's just that many assume things as proof simply because that are aware of the fact that they know nothing at all about something. Ignorance isn't proof, it's a lack of it.
Therefore:
In what sense could GOD actually EXIST? To exist you must BE something rather than nothing. How was God distinguishable from nothing?
God would have no attributes, identity or context.
A God of Love with nothing to love? A God of wisdom with nothing to actually know?
In order to BE God...there must already exist OTHER than God. Just as: for there to be a dream there must be a dreamer.
Consequently, only in the mind of MAN can God find context and omniscience, power, etc.
It is man who dreams of GOD and not the other way round.
Terry, Terry, Terry. Your argument seems to be that since you cannot get your own mind around God, I mean really get on top of the subject, then he must not exist. Did it ever occur to you, that for that to happen he would cease being God and YOU would be him?
Personally, I have become quite comfortable not knowing everything about God after 8 years of following Jesus and getting born again. To my fallen nature, it is quite annoying that God doesn't consult with me on things. Imagine that, God makes good things happen to me without consulting me whether or not it would be OK to do it?
He MAKES ME lie down in green pastures." .... when most of the time I'd rather be fighting some ridiculous battle. Thank God, he knows my innermost desires, when sometimes they are hidden even to me.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (literally "the thing that I long for" - Jeremiah 29:11
You can't ever get your mind around God Terry. Just enjoy him. He himself is the most valuable gift ever conceived.

No one is sure how long the cubit was. Looks like he used the smaller of what many consider to be a cubit. The ARK was likely much larger.
Notwithstanding, this should put the naysayers to bed with their taunts that it is impossible to build an ARK that actually floats like the one described in the bible.
