Proof of Noah's Flood - Presently watching a Documentary about Europe & the Ice Age
by *lost* infirst time i ever heard anyone say there was 'proof' of noah's flood.. very interesting,.
showed a trawler, where the team dredges regularly in the north sea - for animal bones, massive land animal bones, mammoths.. he said, originally, the bones were sent for analysis, and the dr stated, they were proof of noah's flood.. the north sea area was a land mass of dry grazing lands.
and it was very similar to africa.. many bones were found in london, of lions, hippos, etc ... when they were digging out the underground.. .

I tried it when I was about 17 or 18 at a party. It moved all around the board. I remember it pulling my hand, so I knew it wasn't me subconsciously pushing it. I asked it what was God's name. It stopped working.
About that time some guy busts in who was supposedly a former Navy seal and accussed me of something ridiculous and started a fight with me that had to be taken out into the yard. He looked posessed.
That was the first and last time I tried it.

Long serving pioneer no longer has hours quota to stay on the list...
by NVR2L8 ina family member visited us this past weekend and said that my 80 years old mother was recently told she no longer has to meet the annual hour quota to remain on the pioneer list.
"what a loving provision from the brothers" were my sister's exact words.
"mom was so stressed out with having to get her hours in every month" are you freaking kidding me?

"One sister was able to auxiliary pioneer at the age of 106! With the assistance of her Christian relatives and others in the congregation, she preached from house to house, made return visits, went on Bible studies, and shared in other features of the ministry. She assisted in starting Bible studies with ten people."
That aint 'nutin. I once new a pioneer that at the ripe old age of 126 was still able to arm wrestle Baptist preachers for their Mrs' homemade apple pie!! AND ... he was only using two of his fingers too!
Seriously, is there no limit to the burdens they heap on others?

Deception by Omission - The Good News

24:14 was repeated into my head thousands of times while growing up as if it was the only good news (gospel).

Comatose, we are all born enemies of God, children of rebellion, Adam's children.
Earth is not a paradise and we all die "naturally", so SOMETHING is definitely wrong with this picture as you point out. Jesus has pointed out the solution, and it is a different solution than that which is proffered by the WT. That is the point of this thread.

Also, the final instructions Jesus gave about preaching was given AFTER he was resurrected. It bears little resemblance to WT literature:
Acts 10
39 - And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick (the living) and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Perhaps one of the strongest ways to deceive someone is to repeat only one feature of a particular issue over and over and to never to explore the other facets of the same issue. This is called misdirection.
The watchtower has done this with the issue THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM. Mt. 24:14 was repeated into my head thousands of times while growing up as if it was THE ONLY good news (gospel). But was it the CHIEF message of the early church? I was shocked to learn about the other facets of the "Gospel" when I started reading the bible on my own. Just look at all these OTHER facets of the "good news" that was hidden from us by being omitted from WT indoctrination.
the gospel of Jesus Christ - Mark 1:1
the gospel of the grace of God. - Acts 20:24
my gospel …the preaching of Jesus Christ - Romans 16:25
the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: - 2 Thessalonians 1:8
our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, … the gospel - 2 Timothy 1:10
It should be obvious what the good news is by now. And it ain't the message of a bunch of old self-centered men who imagine that God has given them the rulership of the earth. Which is all their version of "The Good News of the Kingdom" amounts to.

Wouldn't it just makes sense for GOD to...
by confusedandalone injust one day perform some form of miracle in front of the entire earth in which he proves he exists???.
wouldn't this be the most loving and sensible thing to do?
for instance, this coming thursday god repeatedly strikes mount kilamanjaro to the point that it reads in hebrew, "god exists, i just did this.

God in his wisdom, which admittidly I don't fully understand has made faith a key component in declaring us righteous. Short of faith in the blood of Jesus ALONE, we remain God's enemies. He owes us nothing.
Notwithstanding that fact; He sent his own Son to perform miracles and raise the dead. He was rejected by a nation who had been prepared for centuries to receive him.
Perhaps the short answer is: Miracles don't work.

"Its even more arrogant to suggest that there is a God or Gods since there's never been any proving evidence of one appearing."
Except for people who got themselves born-again. God lives inside the born again believer. It's a near daily interaction that is utterly undeniable for those who walk by the Spirit. Even attempting to do one tenth of what I regularly do now before getting saved would have been impossible. I can look back on my life and see real testable differences. So can most the believers I know as well.
