  I felt all of the things that other posters listed. Eventually I realized that my feelings were part of the problem. I was a JW because it "felt right", had the "ring of truth" etc. Once I started living by the word of God, and not my feelings, everything changed on a dime.

  My cat died suddenly!

  i did not realize that they were symptoms that something was wrong with my cat -but i did notice that my cat was breathing a little differently for a period of about a few days.

  i also noticed prior and after to that, that on occasion, my cat would cry at the litter box, but that was a very seldom event.. anyway, about a week ago i noticed the symptom that my very loved cat was breathing heavy.

  so i called a taxi and i was going to rush him to emergency room for cats.

  Canines will never turn into docile doodle bugs no matter how much selective breeding is performed. The fox experiment is powerful proof that certain boundaries cannot be crossed with selective breeding processes, exactly as God indicated with his statements above.

  the question as to what believing in this entity called god entails is a fairly important question that needs to be answered first.

  to me, the key difference between a universe in which god exists versus one where god doesn't lies in the idea of teleology.

  in my view, a universe with god entails some sort of process towards an end, an end which can be characterized with words such as bliss and unity and others.

  God is just a mechanism to make you feel that there is something after death.

  Materialism is a fairytale for some adults to bolster their vain hope that there will be no consciousness and no judgment after they die. This is impossible.

  Hebrews 9: 27 - it is appointed once for men to die and then judgment

  We ALONE among all the animals have the great gift of morality, being made in the image of the eternal God. And with that great gift comes great responsibility. All have failed this responsibility ....... except one.

  i am an outsider with a broken heart for some insiders that i love more than they know.

  after reading nearly every “apostate” book ever written, lurking, being worn out searching the wt cd, i have come to an idea that i present for your appraisal..

  Once I got the concept through my head, I couldn't believe it was really as simple as that. After 10 years, I'm just as ready to "throw down" with those that try to make this complicated as I was at first. Too much at stake to back off.

  Everyone should be applying greater and greater pressure on JW's to explain how their sins are forgiven outside the New Covenant as much as and as often as possible.

  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal. 1: 8

  And just for the record, salvation does not save us from destruction at Armageddon, it saves us from a personal judgment AFTER we die:

  Jehovah's Witnesses have no idea what they are doing when they allow themselves to be lead into rejecting a personal membership into the New Covenant each Memorial.

  
  

  There will be a very high price to be paid for faith in a church or your works, or any combination of the two. Jehovah is a God exacting exclusive devotion.   every cell in your body contains a big book of how to build another you.. although it's approximately 3 billion letters long only a small fraction of it contains instructions on making humans.. imagine trying to use a workshop manual but it reads like somebody messed up at the publishers.

  there are a few paragraphs of meaningful text followed by pages of gibberish, another page or so of useful instructions then 9 more of random words.

  some of it looks like copies of original text but full of typing errors.

  I quit reading after this statement. This is a carefully worded statement designed to deflect the fact that evolutionists at first trotted forth the desperately needed proposition that 98% of human dna was junk. This was done to try and prop up the vast amounts of trial and error that the evolutionist relies upon to make sense of his chaotic world. Over the years, I have watched the "98% junk dna" dwindle little by little by real scientists to less than 20 % now. Article here.

  As more testing is done, the 20% figure will doubtless dwindle more and more, in tandem with the increase of dissenting scientists.

  the one thing that keeps jw's worshiping the watchtower corporations more than (or as much as) anything else is the issue of neutrality.

  neutrality is such a benign sounding word isn't it?

  it even sounds religious.

  Looks like the Governing Body "prophet" was really not a footstep follower of Jesus. JW's have disobediently refused to follow Jesus command to arm themselves to protect themselves and their neighbors. They are picking and choosing which steps to walk in.
