how do you feel about the use of the name Jehovah now?

for those who still believe in god and the bible, how do you feel/think about the name jehovah now?

i am one who never wanted to bring reproach on god's name.

i will admit using the word jehovah now makes me feel rather icky...like i am promoting a lie of sorts.

What evidence is there for a biblical jesus?

is there any independently verified evidence that a miracle worker called jesus existed and did the things that the bible said he did?.

the four gospels were written by unknown authors many decades after the so called events, so can't be considered as eyewitness accounts.

i think that there may have been a apocalyptic preacher who was executed by the romans and the story evolved from their.

putting this under beliefs,doctrine and practices because i don't see a better heading.

here is what i have been thinking for years now and the situation with the recent storms and the devastation brings in closer to home in my thinking.

i lived in western nc for 20 years and moved to wv in feb of this year.

In the Deborah Hines interview, she talked about how the first time they were staying at Bethel, her step-dad was helping make a few videos for the Bethel lobby area. Even after John ("Jack") Barr and Underwood and Losch and others knew about what was going on with the sexual abuse At Bethel, they didn't help her. They sacrificed her so they could get their dumb videos. Fake shepherds! Threw the baby to the wolves, and then shunned her later on!

How many others have been abused at Bethel besides the ones who have already come forward?

on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

With all the money Watchtower has hidden away everywhere, there's a good chance he's not even in North Carolina - they just have his name on a residence so people think he's there, and Salena showing up caused others to think he was there.

The tax bill amount indicates that someone is getting homestead exemption. To get that, the residence has to be the primary residence of the person listed on the tax bill.

Why did you bring that up anyway? When you said: "The residence has to be the primary residence of the person listed on the tax bill" what were you implying? That the homestead thing would prove he was actually there?

If you do the math, there is NO HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION on that tax bill anyway.

Why would Watchtower want people to think he's in North Carolina if he's actually somewhere else?

Ex-JW Reddit preaches evolution, abusive lifestyles, and spiritism - so, yeah, stupid.

They teach Satan is the ruler of this world so why do they have a picture of the world and not focus on something more spiritual?
They also put their logo up, just JW. Why? It becomes a symbol when it doesn’t explain anything to the viewer.

I agree that it's an invasion of privacy, but people or spirit creatures who don't respect Jehovah's boundaries are less likely to respect the boundaries of anyone else.

Eventually people and spirit creatures that don't respect privacy will be put out of commission. Until then, we just have to deal with it.

If Jehovah wants to blind someone or put up a "firewall", that is within His power to do so.

Where do you see anything about homestead exemption on there? There is nothing on that posted bill earlier about homestead exemption.

The online receipt also does not indicate any kind of exemption. The property tax appears to be non-exempt.
