I don't know Alan.
I know Jehovah is a father.
A parent doesn't have kids just to give them away or to abandon them.
A Real Father acts like a real father.
Do you have kids?
the jw idea that believers are destined either for heavenly life or for endless life on earth comes in for significant criticism by critics of various kinds.
even some groups, such as the christadelphians, who share belief in a future paradise earth, don’t share the view that some christians are destined for life in heaven.
yet there is surprisingly quite a lot of evidence in the bible for the existence of two distinct groups of believers.

for jws who believe that jehovah had a hand in reviving the truth in the nineteenth century this is enough explanation for how jws managed to achieve a closer approximation to early christian beliefs and practices than other groups.
but is there an explanation for this phenomenon that doesn’t rely on supernatural intervention?

It was a fad. Not making excuses for anyone, but stupidity is different than demonic conspiracy.
It was not a fad.
Weaving paganism into a religion and labeling it "Christian" is not a fad. It is demonic. It is satanic. It was deliberate.
It was not a fad.
God destroyed the reputation of the idols of Egypt during the ten plagues. He destroyed the Egyptian army, including their "god" Pharaoh, at the Red Sea.
Who would want to reintroduce any form of pyramidology/divination crap and mix it up with the Bible to ensnare Christians and corrupt their worship?
Satan is the ruler of the world. He is the one who Charles Taze Russell was in bed with. CTR was a mason/sorcerer/satanist. He purposely wove those false doctrines into the religion, and Satan rewarded him with money and power over people.
The leaders of the Watchtower today have also been willing to do "acts of worship" to the Devil in order to gain power and glory and money and people to abuse.
Which is why they promote blood fractions while at the same time lying to the flock about blood fractions not being blood; which is why they claim to hate abuse but at the same time promote people who do CSA and defend them by means of disgusting "two-witness" rule that isn't scriptural; which is why they claim to be "Jehovah's Witnesses" while teaching things that God hates like the antichrist disfellowshipping doctrine and the divination based 1914 teaching.
The Watchtower organization is a masonic organization. That is what masons do. They lie and build empires based on their "worship" of T.S.A.O.T.U.

Same idea with the context of John 1:18.
John spoke figuratively a lot. "In the beginning was the Word." Jesus is not literally a "word" just like he is not literally "light." John speaks figuratively.
When John said "no man has seen God at any time" he then qualified that by saying Jesus is the one who explained what God is like in full heavenly glory. Jesus explained what God is like in His full heavenly glory. John learned from Jesus how to describe that heavenly glory: "God is love."

Check out the context of Exodus 33:20 -
Jehovah was already talking to Moses face-to-face. Jehovah was in a materialized body. Moses then asked Jehovah to see Jehovah's full heavenly glory, which was when God responded by saying it wasn't possible for a human to do.
Obviously it was possible for a human do see God in a materialized human form, but that wasn't what Moses was asking about when God gave the answer at Exodus 33:20.
Moses was talking to Jehovah face-to-face. Just like He did in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.

the meeting will begin at 9:45am eastern time, for those of us in the uk, that will be 2:45pm.
Some politicians have learned that when it comes to free promotion, giving fake news or misleading statements can be just as effective for campaign purposes even though people can easily disprove the lies.
WT is a business corporation. They have found that spinning any exJW channels as "persecution" helps promote the business model. Leaking the annual meeting is one way to increase the amount of exJW videos in a way that isn't typically too "detrimental" to the WT image as long as they are controlling most of the exJW youtubers who have the most followed content.
WT has been known to use its illicit contacts to depress certain media stories while promoting its own desired agenda.
The government benefited from WT in the past, but at a certain point their relationship becomes a liability rather than a mutual thing.
The government would rather cut Watchtower off completely than have the masonic connection revealed.

When it says "they walked with Jehovah during the breezy part of the day" what do you think that meant?
When it says "they hid from the face of Jehovah" what do you think that meant?

@ukpimo said: Sometimes I wonder if the GB want exjws to watch these events so that they can respond in "theocratic warfare".
As you already know, @ukpimo, the WT hierarchy want EXJWs to watch and promote "these events" because it is a form of "theocratic warfare," namely, promoting the farce that WT is some kind of religious group even though the annual meeting that has been "leaked" isn't the real annual meeting - it's just a cover.
Watchtower is a masonic corporation. The WT leaders want the fake side of the annual meeting advertised so they can keep up their cover, their façade.
WT leaders get the rank-and-file JWs to keep up the fraudulent WT image by means of the preaching work that distributes WT poison along with some Bible truths mixed in. WT leaders get the rank-and-file exJWs to keep up the fraudulent WT image by means of discussions in the exJW community about the WT fake side of the annual meeting.
Why don't these "leakers" leak the real annual meeting? (The corporate part and the masonic side.)
Because WT didn't give them permission. The "leakers" are not who they are pretending to be.

There have always been individuals either unaffiliated with a larger church hierarchy or who kept their mouths closed while affiliated with a larger church hierarchy who knew the various false doctrines were inappropriate.
Russell chose specific doctrines to focus on that would make Watchtower look shiny and holy while at the same time lacing the lump with poison.
"Pyramid" is not found in the Bible.
Russell was an Egyptian freemason. Part of what they do is build empires, whether religious, business, or political. Watchtower is all three. Russell was a huge success in the masonic world, which is why he attracted other masons, and today the WT has been held up as a model of success - until now.
They got caught too many times with their hand in the cookie jar, and now it's about to be cut off by the same government institutions that have been covering for them and using them all these years.
is there any independently verified evidence that a miracle worker called jesus existed and did the things that the bible said he did?.
the four gospels were written by unknown authors many decades after the so called events, so can't be considered as eyewitness accounts.
i think that there may have been a apocalyptic preacher who was executed by the romans and the story evolved from their.
Jesus isn't God, but people have been talking about him since the beginning of human history.
They're still talking about him.
Even his opposers talk about him.
Which is abundantly apparent.

The WT hierarchy leaders are masons. One of the masonic symbols is a two-faced eagle.
In harmony with being two-faced, the WT hierarchy has plants in the EXJW community who work both sides.
They permit "leaks" for several different reasons.
One of the reasons has to do with corporate R & D factors. EXJW Reddit is an area where WT players test new ideas for possible future use in the organization.
Typically such two-faced plants have names like "EXBethelElder" or "PIMO" or stuff like that.
I was on EXJW Reddit last year for the Annual Meeting stream and joined in the commenting. Interestingly, later on the WT mods edited and removed some of my comments because they didn't fit with the narrative the WT wanted to promote there.
