I thought this forum was essentially for ex-JW's & fading JW's. Looks like the lockdown is encouraging blinded JW's to expand their ministry into new territories.

Reasonable question - looking for reasonable responses!
by BoogerMan inwhy are taxi firms still operating during a "deadly pandemic?".
i was shopping yesterday and saw taxi after taxi picking people & their shopping up at the supermarket.
none of the drivers or any of the passengers wore masks or gloves, nor did they keep any distance from each other - in or out of the car.. the drivers all helped to load the bags into the boots/trunks of their cars.taxi-drivers must be seriously at risk of catching/spreading covid 19...

@ nbd - Life is not going on - it has been suspended, but when it returns, "they" are going to renogotiate past freedoms for future "safety." Just wait & see. This pandemic "event" has induced mass-hysteria & mass-paranoia.
Certainly it's killing people in large numbers - but so does the 'flu, and cancers even more so!
@ sta - For whatever reasons, no autopsies (AFAIK!) have been carried out on so-called healthy people who have died, but allegedly had no known underlying health conditions!
As standard protocol, surely an autopsy has to be carried out to establish whether there was a serious comorbidity issue with a "healthy indidual." Quincy would be raging at the lackadaisical attitudes.

When do the 2300 days begin?

to get an idea, it could be helpful to discern when those days end relative to time times and half a time.. i see a possibility that the 2300 days end the same day as the 1260 days.
that is because the woman in revelation 12 will be fed 1260 days.

@ fedupjw - So are you saying that VULNERABLE people should self-isolate and take personal responsibility to avoid contagion, and that HEALTHY people should return to normal everyday life? Sounds sensible!
Quarantining countless millions of healthy people is neither clinically nor scientifically justified. It defies logic.

I haven't "bought into" anything. I'm weighing up both sides of the argument and I certainly refuse to "buy into" the blatant censorship being carried out in so-called democracies.
Personally, I'm troubled at people's very short memories when it comes to trusting politicians & MSM. :(
Perhaps the next annual 'flu season (pandemic) will change a lot of people's perspective on what is going right now. We'll see.

@ slim - you have not addressed the elephant in the room: if Covid 19 is an outright killer on its own, why are millions not dying?
I don't think you're being accurate when you say that "countless" healthy doctors & nurses have died. Can you provide actual statistics to prove how many "countless" represents? Also, it appears that even the experts don't understand why a very few apparently healthy individuals have died, but they're trying to figure it out - because it shouldn't & doesn't kill the vast majority of healthy persons. Something unknown is involved in such cases.

The doctors made this clear and emphatic statement regarding both Covid 19 and the 'flu -
Covid 19 & 'flu viruses, in and of themselves, do not kill people. Comorbidity (https://bjgp.org/content/63/609/e274) is what causes fatalities in both cases.
If the above statement is false, then millions should die when infected by either virus. Thankfully, this is not happening, and millions (including Tom Hanks & Boris) survive without any problems.
