what are some of the red flags that should alert people to the fact that jehovah's witnesses are a high control and damaging religion?.

1. one cannot leave jehovah's witnesses with one's reputation intact.

If we were to take the view that people were going to be condemned on the basis of deeds in their past life, that would be inconsistent with Romans 6:7...... Jesus was expressing the outcome after they had been uplifted to human perfection and been put on judgment."

bh p. 214 par. 3 - "...the judgment will not focus on what people did before they died.....individuals will be judged on the basis of what they do during Judgment Day."

w82 4/1 p. 25 par. 18 - "Both “those who did good things” and “those who practiced vile things” will be among “those dead” who will be “judged individually according to their deeds” performed after their resurrection."

w78 9/1 p. 22 par. 9 - "...the former life pattern will affect the problem of the resurrected ones as to their conforming to Kingdom requirements........they will either turn to the course of doing good things or turn to the practicing of vile things."

If people are going to be practicing vile things and then get judged, such a world makes a nonsense of Christ's rulership as described at Revelation 2:27 - "....he will shepherd the people with an iron rod...."

if anyone were to come up to you claiming that they are the faithful and discreet slave, how would you go about proving them to be false, based upon scripture?.

Easy to answer - all the hierarchy of the WTBTS back in 1919 were PERSONALLY chosen by Jehovah!!!

If you can't remember seeing the DIVINE PROOF of their selection, tough! Read about it in the litter-ature.

If you know a teaching is wrong, you will be in serious trouble for saying so and proving it!

Example: years ago I pointed out the org's "wrong thinking" re John 5:28,29 - that resurrected ones will commit evil deeds. Didn't go down well with fellow JW's - especially the "spiritually strong" elders.

Surprise, surprise!!! September 2022 Study Watchtower article, page 18, paragraph 14, (this week's study) reveals a wondrous 'new light,' aka 'reversal of doctrine.'

The Guardians of Doctrine now say this: "In the past, we understood Jesus’ words to refer to the deeds the resurrected ones will practice after their resurrection."

w09 2/15 p. 9 par. 20 - Faithful anointed Christians have been adopted by Jehovah and are “sons of God.” (but not you 'other sheep' trash) They already have an intimate relationship with Jehovah as his children because they exercise faith in Christ and wholeheartedly worship “the God of love and of peace.” (and 8m + 'other sheep' don't? How silly of them!)

Perhaps the Bible's description of the vessel being called an 'ark' (meaning chest or coffer) instead of a 'boat,' offers a clue as to its functional shape.

It seems certain (according to experts) that the Kentucky ark would disintegrate if placed in water.

Mr. A. M. Robb was referring to any given wooden ship, but I assume he wasn't asked about a gigantic wooden crate, reinforced internally throughout with wooden floors. Maybe.
