  re chap. 2 p. 12 par. 13 - Would the woman’s seed be simply one prominent person? They [the 144,00] become a secondary part of the seed, Christ Jesus being the primary part.

  i would love to hear jehovah's witnesses explain their beliefs in 1919 using only the bible.. 1:) why do you believe that god chose the "bible students" to be his one and only channel of communication and his organization on earth in 1919?.

  2:) what were the "bible students" teaching in 1919 that would have made god and jesus choose them over any other religion?.

  ws chap. 8 p. 67 par. 5 - In 1919 the anointed disciples of the reigning King, Jesus Christ, did enter into an approved condition

  w16 March p. 31 - Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Revelation 11:7-12 each speak of a spiritual restoration that took place in 1919.
  

  w16 March p. 29 par. 2 - All the evidence* indicates that this captivity ended in 1919 when anointed Christians were gathered into the restored congregation.
  

  w16 July p. 31 - From 1919, God’s people were gradually reorganized and reunited to serve as “one flock.” (Gradually???? Why did it take Jehovah & Christ 16 years to do the job?)

  yb12 p. 112 - “How excited Jehovah’s Witnesses were in 1935 when the identity of the “great crowd”...was made clear. God’s people were delighted to learn that worshippers who hope to live on a paradise earth could join the anointed remnant as dedicated servants of Jehovah.”

  yb93 p. 96 Denmark - In August 1935, two issues of The Watchtower in English explained that the “great crowd” of Revelation chapter 7 was an earthly class that was to be gathered before Armageddon.

  * I'd love to hear a JW try to offer one piece of Bible evidence to back up this fairy tale!

  @ jhine - I should have phrased it as, "the corruption in the Christian congregations worldwide" - as can be be seen by Jesus' words to them in Revelation chapters 2 & 3.

  As for inner/interior rooms -

  (Proverbs 24:4) "And by knowledge will the interior rooms be filled with all precious and pleasant things of value."
  

  Where is knowledge retained and stored? In the heart & mind?
  

  (Isaiah 26:20) "Go, my people, enter your inner rooms, And shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a brief moment Until the wrath has passed by."

  p.s. When the G.T. starts, forget about hiding in your basements or running off into forests - the G.B. wants you to gather together in your local KH - makes it easier for the JW haters to find all of their victims!

  A total non-story by the looks of things.

  Here is the best they come up with:

  "...offers slightly more detail than the Greek translation of Matthew chapter 12. In verse 1 of the Greek translation, a sentence reads "at that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and his disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat," while the Syriac translation discovered by Kessel ends "began to pick the heads of grain, rub them in their hands, and eat them". Wow!!!

  here is the thing that came to my mind: by isolating just that part, the part sounds rather hubris, shocking, audacious.

  when the jw hear it couched in a talk and woven in with scriptures, they will take it in without giving a real thought as to what is really being said..

  UK Hospital using Kingdom Melodies - complaint

  i found out that a uk hospital (nnuh) uses kingdom melodies as hold music, apparently for some years!

  i called and heard it myself.

  i wrote an email to the complaints team and await a response.
